a genuine and down-to-earth mountain restaurant with an attached riding stable, open only for lunch on weekends and in August. You need to notify in advance, but they make gluten-free first courses. For meat second courses, sides, and appetizers, there are no issues except for grilled vegetables with breadcrumbs and the bread, which they do not have, but you can bring your own.

When we come to Monte Livata, it has become a fixed stop for lunch here. The food is excellent, from the coratella to the homemade pasta with truffle, game, and other innovative choices, not to mention the meat and roasted potatoes. It is also recommended for celiacs if notified in advance. The place is clean and enchanting, immersed in a ranch with horses, and the service is excellent. The portions are generous and the bill is fair. Unmissable.

We have been visiting this restaurant for a few years now. The atmosphere is that of a classic mountain trattoria, the staff is kind and helpful, and the food is of excellent quality. I discovered two years ago that I am celiac and they told me they have gluten-free options. For the first courses, all sauces are gluten-free, for the second courses, all meats, then the sides. I bring my own gluten-free bread because they do not provide it; for me, it is not a problem.
