Very disappointing experience and not for first time. We specifically stated upon arrival that my wife has lactose intolerance. We advised both the hostess and also the waitress when we ordered steak. It was then shocking that my wife got a steak with butter on it, when she SPECIFICALLY asked NOT TO. The service was already very slow, so my wife then had to wait extra time to get her steak. My steak was clearly left 5-10 minutes in kitchen before it was served to our table, and was cold. We ordered several drinks plus some tap water. The brought us bottle of still water, which we didn't ask for, so we gave it back. Upon getting the bill, the water bottle was still there. Consider the premium you pay , this was really a terrible experience.

We had a lovely evening at The Camelot, Miller and Carter. Nine of us went for my daughters 18th birthday. Booking was easy and when I called and asked if we could bring balloons for the table they were very accommodating. We were all seated very quickly on arrival and Kelly our waitress was lovely, so friendly and efficient. Everyone loved their food, steaks cooked just right. My daughters coeliac disease was taken seriously and she was given a gluten free menu and food arriving was labelled accordingly. Cocktails were lovely as were the coffee and desserts. Kelly even brought out my daughters dessert with a candle in it and Happy Birthday written on the plate. We hadn’t even asked them to do this it was very thoughtful. We use to go to this pub a lot many years ago and the atmosphere was still as lovely in their this evening as it always was.

We were served by friendly staff and was a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, one of our guests steak was cold and food generally wasn't very hot. Another guest who is food intolerant was served a sauce made with tomatoes when specifically pointed out she was allergic. Desserts were a little mixed up too..But generally we were satisfied though our experience at Miller and Carter has been better

Very pleased with the service at the Miller & Carter. As a person with multiple severe allergies and coeliac disease eating out can be very difficult but the staff went above and beyond in catering for me and making me feel safe. Me and my family was also in a separate part of the restaurant which made me feel even more safe as an allergy sufferer, staff came to check if we needed anything and that we was happy with our meals and was very polite, food was lovely too..we will definitely be coming back again, one of the staff was called Sally who was very lovely.
