Dolcelia is a magnificent place, as if it came straight out of the pages of a book. The most surprising thing is that you would never guess that everything you eat is gluten-free. The brioche and cupcakes are excellent and visually spectacular – I absolutely recommend trying the Black Forest and Red Velvet. Even at lunchtime, the offerings are extraordinary, with truly delicious stuffed piadina and focaccia. Cute place, in the center of Mantova. It's a shame about the staff, who are a bit unfriendly, and the fact that they have a very limited stock; they often run out of products by late morning, and you can't find anything. Definitely worth a try!

We were at this bakery for lunch, the piadina was delicious but a bit small. I tried the classic sbriciolona and it was fantastic! The hot chocolate was also very good.

A disappointment. The place is very nice and also central, but the whipped cream seemed like the tasteless ready-made spray kind, and a pastry shop aspiring to be one cannot afford to have products that seem subpar. If the production is in-house and artisanal, all ingredients must be very fresh.

Everything was very good. But the prices are extremely exaggerated. I paid 4 euros for a hot milk with cocoa powder, and 4 euros for a bottled grapefruit juice. The total was 30.60 euros for 3 bites of brownie, 2 croissants, 3 juices, 1 bottle, 2 hot milks with cocoa, and 2 espressos. If we were in a main square, I would understand, but this street is secondary. I repeat, everything is excellent but the prices are crazy.

The piadinas at noon are excellent. The place is a small corner of sweetness. Decorated tastefully in shades of green, blue, and white, it is well cared for and welcoming. Friendly staff. Prices are in line with the average for fresh gluten-free products.

For those who are celiac or intolerant, it's never easy to travel comfortably because you know you'll have trouble finding places to eat without worrying about feeling unwell afterward due to contamination. Here, everything is tailored for celiacs and the fresh pastries are very, very good. There is also great attention to foods that are purely plant-based. Friendly and nice staff with excellent service... What more can I say? Highly recommended!

The cupcakes and smoothie were so good here. Had some trouble ordering from the menu as it was all in Italian and the staff didn’t speak English. We wanted Focaccia but they didn’t have it apart from during holidays, so we were offered a salad instead. The salad was the wraps pictured - fortunately they were really good so we didn’t mind.

I went there with my mom, who has no food issues, but she found everything delicious too. We had lunch with two excellent piadinas and tasted their cupcakes (they don’t look gluten-free at all). The owners, a husband and wife (she is celiac) are super kind and helpful; they set aside sbrisolona and brioche for me to take home, and they were still exquisite the next day. Just a small note on the pistachio brioche...it's without filling, ugh! But the dough is exquisite! And the one with jam was bursting with filling!

Pleasant surprise. We came on a Sunday in January, and it took us a while to find the right place. After searching on Google Maps, we stopped at this nice pastry shop a bit off the "chaos" of the center. Great selection of hot chocolates.. at least 18 if I'm not mistaken and excellent pastries. Few but definitely very good. I give it 5 stars because they were very kind .. my overall rating is 8/10. 😊

Visited 3 times. Once we sat in and twice for takeaway coffee. At the rate the price of coffee was rising it was just as well I did not have an opportunity to visit again. Day 1 it cost €1.90, day 2 €2.40, day 3 €2.80. Same coffee was ordered each time. 2nd time I thought maybe there was a charge for the takeaway cup. 3rd day, it was plain and simply taking advantage of the non Italian speaking tourist. The cafe itself looks appealing from the outside. However, my advice would be to go elsewhere.

Good location for visiting Mantova on foot.

Really great vegan breakfast! Say goodbye to the usual frozen, empty, and sad pastries! At DolCeLia, you'll find some truly spectacular mini vegan cakes! The service is very friendly, fast, and attentive; I leave 4 stars only because of the bill, as 10 euros for a breakfast seems slightly above average to me. However, I highly recommend it and can't wait to go back!

Great place due to its location and interior design. The food is good, and especially commendable is the quality and goodness of the products for celiacs and lactose intolerant people. Nowadays, it's not easy to find places that strictly adhere to the regulations for intolerances, and finding one that is also good is truly a pleasure. My girlfriend, who is celiac and lactose intolerant, considers it a highlight in the Mantuan culinary scene. P.S. The berry tarts and piadinas are recommended.
