A really nice, intimate restaurant with a unique style. Impeccable service that was very attentive and kind. I thought the menu was good while my girlfriend found some of the pairings quite daring, which made her turn up her nose at certain dishes. For my first course, I chose focaccia with burrata stracciatella, confit cherry tomatoes, Sicilian anchovies, Taggiasca olives, and basil—it was out of this world! Meanwhile, my girlfriend had the veal with tuna sauce and a salad of radishes and cucumbers. The meat was good just like the sauce, but the cucumber salad was too much and overshadowed the flavor of the meat when eaten together; separately, they were good, but overall, the dish felt quite unbalanced. For my second course, I had maccheroncini with braised donkey, which was heavenly, while my girlfriend opted for a side due to the generous portions: roasted pumpkin with Tropea red onions. She didn't like the pairing in this case either, but the two ingredients were really good when eaten separately. For dessert, I had a cheesecake with goat ricotta, almonds, and yogurt, which was very good, while my girlfriend, lactose intolerant, was pleasantly surprised to receive a watermelon and lemon sorbet—truly unique, original, and tasty. The bill was 89 euros, including wine, water, and a digestif. More than honest.
