Our brunch at Suzette Pancakerie was easily our best breakfast/brunch in France/Switzerland. It was actually one of the best meals we had, of any sort. I had the avocado toast, granola/fromage blanc, pancake, and drinks. My wife had le Croc Suzette with gluten-free pancakes and avocado sauce instead of the (glutinous) béchemel sauce. The quality of the ingredients and balance of flavors were exquisite. The service was friendly and accommodating. We are there twice, and the weekend version of my dish was prepared differently. I thought the weekday version was superior.

This is a perfect brunch place. The restaurant has very cute style and the staff is super nice (also speaks english!!). And the food is just amazing. My friend and me took a brunch set which was delicious. I had the gluten-free options and they looked and tasted just the same as the normal ones. The price was 25€ which for 2 sets of pancakes, one hot and one cold drink is just fitting. So I would recommend to anyone travelling in Lyon (also with a glutenfree diet)! 🙌🩷😋

Had high hopes after reading the reviews, but unfortunately the food didn’t quite live up to the hype. We had to queue for a while with little communication from the staff, who seemed more focused on clearing tables than managing the line. Things did improve once we were seated, and service picked up. I went for the gluten-free pancakes, which were disappointingly dry—possibly just a bad choice on my part, as the regular ones looked better. The granola, however, was incredibly sweet—too much so for any of us to finish. Worth noting: you can’t order just one dish. The set menu requires you to pick both a savoury and a sweet pancake (amongst other things!), so make sure you arrive hungry!
