They offer a gluten-free roll for an additional charge of €1.50. This is great in itself, but the preparation is not contamination-free for people with celiac disease!!! The roll is sealed, a new knife is used, and hands are thoroughly washed. Unfortunately, all rolls are topped over the fish container, causing crumbs to fall into it. Additionally, the rolls are garnished with a wooden tongs, which contaminates the gluten-free food. Taste-wise it’s great, the service is nice, but unfortunately it’s not celiac-safe.

It's great that gluten-free fish sandwiches are offered at a place in Hamburg. The herring sandwich is highly recommended. The extra charge is reasonable.

Very sweet, quirky fish roll stand! The rolls are all freshly prepared and there is an option to get gluten-free rolls for a small extra charge (which was very delicious! :)) Taking ferry 62 to get there and making a fish roll stop at the local museum harbor is highly recommended!

I was at the pier on Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:00 PM, but unfortunately, it was closed even though it stated 12:00 as the opening time. Such a pity, I wanted to offer gluten-free fish buns to my friend.

I was delighted by how meticulously the order for a gluten-free fish sandwich was handled. They knew right away. The gluten-free bun was toasted in a baking bag. A separate - previously cleaned - knife was used for preparation. The workspace was cleaned and additionally covered with paper towels. Cucumber and onion were cut with an extra knife. No visible risk of "contamination" from gluten. My son was also thrilled with the taste. We are only on a short trip to Hamburg, but we will definitely have this fish sandwich again. Great job!

With a gluten-free roll, it is also prepared safely for celiac disease! Unfortunately, only the horseradish is not gluten-free. Very well intended portion of fish on the roll, almost too much.

Finally a gluten-free fish sandwich! The bun was heated in a baking bag, the filling comes from a separate can, and there was a good focus on contamination! For me as someone with celiac disease, it's a safe meal! Taste 10/10!!!

Super delicious "gluten-free" fish rolls. Definitely worth a trip. The Kaiserweggle are warmed in foil and even hands are washed before preparation so that gluten-free stays gluten-free. Absolutely TOP
