We had a fantastic breakfast with a huge selection of excellent gluten-free baked goods. The staff was consistently nice and very attentive. The buffet offers a nice selection of cold cuts, jams, juices, etc. Egg dishes can be freshly ordered right to the table.

We visited Quintessenz for dinner on May 15th and were completely delighted. Both the food and the service were truly excellent. From the very first moment, we felt comfortable and welcomed; the team was attentive, warm, and pleasantly uncomplicated. For me personally, the evening was something very special, as I have had the diagnosis of celiac disease for about 9 months now. Since then, going out to eat has unfortunately often been difficult and associated with uncertainty. At Quintessenz, I was able to simply shut that out for the first time in a long time and enjoy the evening. For that, I really want to thank you – you have given me back a piece of joy in eating out. And the gluten-free bread deserves a special mention: without exaggeration, the best gluten-free bread I have ever eaten! Thank you to the entire team for this wonderful evening. Please keep it up – as soon as we are back in Hamburg, we will definitely come again.

We came here for breakfast and everything on that plate over there is gluten-free! It tasted amazing and we will soon take advantage of the gluten-free specials (Instagram!). We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Fraser Suites, and especially the Quintessence restaurant truly impressed us! I was there with my daughter primarily to try the gluten-free offerings at the restaurant. Our expectations were more than exceeded. Almost everything was gluten-free at dinner, and since the chef personally ensured this, we felt safe and well taken care of at all times. Such a feeling of trust is truly priceless! The breakfast the next morning was the absolute highlight: a dream buffet with an incredible variety of lovingly selected dishes. We were particularly impressed by the large selection of gluten-free baked goods that were served directly at our table, and every single item was delicious. To be honest, I have never eaten such good gluten-free rolls, not even from specialized bakeries! Even the buffet itself was thoughtfully arranged: butter and jams, etc., were served in small jars, so contamination was practically impossible. What made our stay even more special was the warm service: both before and after breakfast, the baker personally came to our table to check if everything was alright. This personal contact was incredibly attentive and friendly. For us, it is clear: we will definitely come back and certainly not just once! A 100% recommendation!

The food at Quintessenz is excellent. For people with intolerances, the Quintessenz team really tries to do everything possible. However, I recommend giving them a heads up in advance (with enough notice). Celiac disease is no problem at all. The team is very knowledgeable. Furthermore, the operators are very friendly. The photo I am uploading is from today. It is a homemade completely gluten-free dessert. The layers of chocolate, milk cream, and chocolate cake are a dream (imagine a better version of Kinder Pingui without gluten). Plus an espresso, and the world is right. Absolute heart recommendation for Quintessenz and the team. With celiac disease, it’s simply a dream. They offer handmade baked goods and regularly have gluten-free specials, such as the pasta on Parmesan Day. If there are other allergies and intolerances, they are taken into account; here you can really eat freely. It's important to reserve in advance for good planning and to register for special requests. Sarah makes everyone so happy. Today, we got a snack package to go for the Hamburger Dom - wow, homemade fried pastries and quark balls. My highlight today was the dessert: gluten-free children’s penguin in a glass. Just fantastic, the entire team is also always friendly, and everyone is top knowledgeable about celiac disease; there's nothing better than this.

Short version: Worth a visit, definitely go if you're in Hamburg, I've rarely eaten so well, gluten-free! Detailed: I planned a surprise weekend for my gluten-free girlfriend and decided on a dinner here based on the reviews. The reservation was very easy online. Upon arrival, you are welcomed by a beautiful older building with pleasant and interesting architecture and friendly greetings at a reception desk. When we were there, only a few other guests were present, yet it felt pleasantly lively, but by no means loud. The experienced waiter who greeted us had a stylish joke or two, confidently recommended the specialties, and ensured there were no other intolerances. He guided us flawlessly through the evening, and his absolutely professional yet familial style of service even made the unbelievably good food seem secondary. The food was also excellent. I had what is likely the tenderest piece of meat of my life (beef cheek), and my girlfriend had a gluten-free penne dish. For starters, we had various salads, even with gluten-free croutons that were evidently made from the same homemade bread that was served at the beginning with olive oil. One can only say it was top-notch bread. The musical background was positive and surprisingly so. The well-known DJ Ben Böhmer was primarily playing, and with his soothing melodic house tones, he made the restaurant's impressive ambiance truly unique in conjunction with a modern feel. Excellent music selection. The next visit to Hamburg will definitely lead us back here. Compliments to the kitchen, service, and the owner!

We were warmly welcomed (even as non-hotel guests). The staff was very child-friendly. The wide selection of gluten-free options in an area dedicated solely to gluten-free foods was overwhelming. In addition to gluten-free baked goods from well-known manufacturers, there were also house-made baked goods that are highly recommended. Along with fresh fruit and juices, there were also freshly prepared omelets and scrambled eggs available upon request (poached eggs were also on offer). All in all, it was a great breakfast experience and worth a visit. Especially recommended for those with celiac disease:
