Our Christmas dinner with friends was a truly special occasion, thanks to the sublime gluten-free and dairy-free "Winter Delight" Yule log. The light and airy chestnut cream mousse, lightly sweetened with pear, delighted everyone, and the crisp shortbread base provided a satisfying finale. A huge thank you to Elodie for her skill and expertise. I wholeheartedly approve and recommend it. 👏👏👏

My daughter's birthday was ruined. I ordered a regular chocolate-vanilla sponge cake, and they gave me a roughly chopped cake with chocolate mousse and hair on it. The mousse was awful, and the cake was disgusting, clearly thrown together in a rush. I'm absolutely disgusted and feel like throwing up. My daughter can't have milk, which is why I came to you, but I'm truly disappointed and disgusted. I should have made it myself; it would have been a thousand times better, or gone somewhere else. Here are the photos as proof. I came last year, but they only seem to know how to make mousse cakes. I shouldn't have gone back. The cake looked like a bad joke, both for her health and her wallet. I'm disgusted. As for the response: I think it's difficult for this pastry chef to question herself, and for her ego too. Indeed, I picked up the cake in a hurry because I was late for my appointment, and with the cake in the envelope, I didn't notice that it was a roughly cut cake and that the mousse would contain hair and wouldn't taste like chocolate. The pastry chef wanted to refund me, but when she saw the review I posted, she decided to take legal action against me. I encourage her to do so, because I will take the necessary steps to ensure that hygiene and quality standards are taken seriously. She should also review her HACCP training and take pastry courses. In response, she claimed that you can't order a cake "in its original condition" because it's gluten-free and lactose-free; yet specialized bakeries make excellent gluten-free and lactose-free cakes, among others. I hope she will reflect on her practices so she can improve and not just take the money. The quality wasn't up to scratch: I'd rather have a cake from Lidl than this. Again, the presentation was poor—as you can see—it's not a sponge cake, it's a sliced loaf, and the chocolate mousse has no taste at all; the cake itself is large, hard, and full of bits of hair—no thanks. I can't let this slide: I was ashamed, disappointed, and I threw up twice. I should have taken a picture of the vomit too, so she'd reflect on her actions. Attached is proof that once it's public, she's bothered by the text exchange.
