What a treat to dine with Frédéric in Lourdes! He is such a wonderful and passionate host who serves the most unassuming delicious food of the region 🇫🇷 we felt so welcomed and had so much fun chatting with him between meals! We started with a vibrant serving of salad topped with a healthy serving of Roquefort and a side of baguette 🥖 This was a first time for us to try the Garbure dish and yet the flavors are totally reminiscent of home 🥘 a duck confit stewed with greens 🥬, beans 🫘, and potatoes 🥔, balanced with an herby savoury broth 😋 every spoonful was delicious! We ended the meal with a rich fondant au chocolat (gluten free, made with buckwheat (sarrasine)!) 🍫 🍰 Thank you Frédéric ❤️💌
