A cute little neighbourhood cafe in the samurai district. The curry’s were very tasty and they were both gluten free. A good pit stop to have lunch and warm up before more exploring. The coffee was strong which I liked. Service was quick and English is spoken. They have an allergy chart behind the till so the servers can check what’s in each item. The chart is in Japanese but they quickly told us which things were gluten free.

UPDATE **coffee and banana bread was so good we had to return on our last morning in Kanazawa. The coffee was just as good and the banana bread is so tasty we got extra to go for our train ride to Tokyo. Highly recommend this place if you love coffee- it’s just as good or better than most Australian cafes! The staff here are also just so lovely and friendly.** This cafe was so cute and in a perfect location near the Samuri district! They can accommodate gluten free & vegan dishes. The gluten free banana bread was one of the best I’ve tried! Even my non GF partner loved it. Also they serve amazing coffee, one of the best we’ve tried in Kanazawa so far.

Visited Kanazawa on a Tuesday and most places are surprisingly closed. This place is open until 18:00. Gluten free omurice curry options, so stoked!! The banana bread is also gluten free. They have an allergy sheet they can check if you mention allergies.
