This was delicious! The pasta was amazing!!! And the rice flour toast was one of the best I’ve had! Such a great gluten free find here in Nara!

This place is one of the best dedicated gluten free cafes in Nara and probably all of Japan! We had porcini and mushroom cream pasta served with a side of toast, salad, gf cheesecake. We also purchased a gluten free bread loaf and canelé. Very delicious!!!! There aren’t a lot of gluten free options in konbinis or many restaurants in Japan, so this was one of the highlights of our day. My partner was literally starving until we found Sarasojyu. Thank you so much!!

Recommended this place and it didn’t disappoint! I was with 3 non gluten free people and they raved about it too - couldn’t even tell the difference. Soooo yummy and lovely service. A must go to if you’re GF in Nara. Arigato!!!!!

Wow, best gluten free bread I have ever had. The gluten free pasta was amazing and we also tried the egg sandwich witch was so good and creamy. It was my first time trying cannele and it was delicious. I really recommend this place if you are coming to nara since this is the only glute free dedicated place here

Excellent place to rest after a day meeting the deer in Nara Park. With my partner who is celiac we ordered two delicious iced latte, but the whole menu is gluten-free. Without a doubt we will come back to try some of their pasta! They also have gluten-free breads and noodles for sale
