The Universal Hotel is family-friendly. We stayed for 9 days in August and found a hospitality that made us feel at home. Our room, a suite, was very welcoming, spacious, and had a spectacular view of the sea; upon our arrival, a small stuffed animal was waiting on our child's bed, which he appreciated a lot and came home with us. The staff was helpful, friendly, and professional, without exception, from the service staff to the dining room staff, from the chefs to the management. Regarding the kitchen, I found great availability and attention towards my gluten intolerance, which I greatly appreciated; the dishes are really good and flavorful, from the appetizer to the dessert, not forgetting the breakfast with a very good gluten-free brioche. The hotel also has a small area outside the restaurant where children can draw and play together. The private beach, right in front of the hotel, is a plus; the umbrellas are well spaced from each other, the sunbeds are king size, and at the entrance to Bathroom 33, there is a beach volleyball and bocce court, hot shower, changing room, and restroom. The sea, on sunny days, is a blue tabletop, and the water is clear, fabulous for small children, who enjoy collecting shells and looking for little fish. For our departure, we left very early in the morning, and we were offered a coffee, a simple gesture but appreciated. We thank the Universal Hotel for the wonderful vacation it made us spend. We sincerely recommend it.
