Finally made it to this spot. Peek Á Treat in Miami is an absolute hidden gem for dessert lovers. This inclusive gelato bar stands out by serving handcrafted, small-batch gelato that is entirely 100% gluten-free and made without artificial ingredients. The texture is perfectly rich and creamy, featuring inventive and highly addictive flavors like Guava Cheesecake and Dulce de Leche. What made it even better is the exceptional service; the customer service is incredibly sweet and passionate, taking the time to explain the menu to every visitor. Combined with its relaxing, nature filled garden atmosphere, it provides a peaceful oasis to enjoy a phenomenal sweet treat. It is easily some of the best artisanal gelato you will find in the city.

Peek A Treat is such a great find in Miami, especially if you’re looking for gluten-free options. The place has a very nice and relaxed vibe, and everything feels clean and well put together. You can tell they really care about what they offer. I tried their gelato and it was amazing super creamy, fresh, and not overly sweet. They also have plant-based options, which is a big plus. What I liked the most is that everything is 100% gluten free, so you can enjoy without worrying. Definitely a spot I’d come back to, especially if you’re around Upper Buena Vista or the Design District.

Peek Á Treat was absolutely amazing! The entire shop is dedicated gluten free and they even make their own waffle cones! The mall area where the truck is located is super cute and fun to walk around and peaceful to sit in. All of the ice cream is homemade as well and was so good that I went back two nights in a row! I had the Mami Pavlova, Guava Cheesecake, and Soursop with Strawberry. They had a lot of unique flavor options has well as vegan options. I will definitely come back the next time that I visit Miami!

Peek Á Treat is one of those places that makes you stop mid bite and look at your cone like, wait… how is this gluten free. The rice based cone was genuinely one of the crispiest I’ve had, light, clean, and the crunch can be heard all the way on the other side of the food court. I also love where it sits in Upper Buena Vista, right up front, with that pretty little truck vibe that feels fun before you even order.  The owner is clearly obsessed in the best way, super patient with samples, proud of the process, and you can feel the care. We tried the deconstructed key lime pie flavor and it was seriously delectable, bright and balanced, not overly sweet. A true slice of heavenly Key lime pie. I ended up going with dulce de leche plus chocolate and Mr. Hazelnut, and I love how they finish it with that little chocolate on top, then coat the outside with a flavor matched shell so every bite is evenly coated, not just random chunks of topping.  Bonus points for being family and dog friendly. My kids inhaled their ice cream in minutes, and they even had pup treats made with peanut butter and banana with no sugar for my dog, which is such a thoughtful touch.
