They are very careful to specify what contains gluten and what does not. They have two kitchens, and the pizza is outstanding.

I have rarely come across such culinary excellence, capable of merging impeccable formal elegance with first-class gastronomic substance. My experience at this restaurant was a revelation. First of all, I would like to praise the service: I found the waiters to possess a kindness and attentiveness reminiscent of another time, a rare courtesy that predisposes the soul to the pleasure of the table. The cuisine, then, is a triumph. We tasted superb fresh pasta: the Cacio e Pepe was a sensory experience, able to transport the palate elsewhere with its intensity. But the real surprise, almost shocking in its perfection, was the gluten-free management. My partner requires gluten-free cuisine and, tasting her pizza, I was incredulous: a fragrance and flavor absolutely indistinguishable from the traditional version, if not even superior. Without fear of contradiction, I assert that this is the best restaurant in Siena. Congratulations, you are indisputably number one.

The girls who served us were friendly, while what I believe was the "maître" was not very cordial at all. I would say grumpy, but maybe it was New Year's and he didn't feel like being there. We had lunch on the terrace, but it was very poorly heated; we suffered from the cold despite the 2 halogen lamps above us. Outside, it was 2 degrees. The food was nothing special, certainly not worth the price asked per dish. I regret not having ordered the pizza instead; it might have been better. Unfortunately, it seemed like a typical tourist trap, very expensive and lacking substance. I will not return next time we visit Siena. You need to improve your customer care a bit more. They did give us a small discount, but I have to admit that.

Great restaurant and great pizzeria. Huge attention to gluten-free options. High-quality dedicated dishes, homemade gluten-free pasta, and their really exquisite gluten-free pizza dough. Prices are in line with those in Siena, neither low nor excessively high. One evening for 4 people, a beef steak, a chicken breast, two generous plates of gratin vegetables, two gluten-free pasta with ragu (homemade pappardelle) and 2 waters, total 90 euros. Another evening for 4 people, two gluten-free pizzas, one regular, one panna cotta and two coffees 57 euros. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend.

I really dislike it , I ordered well done steak but it came so dry and so not edible, for the price that I paid I can find much better and female workers were so dry , like i would understand if they are tired, but it’s literally 1:30pm !!! Seriously it wasn’t pleasant

Excellent restaurant for gluten free diets, particularly celiac with a certification and confirmation of a separate kitchen for gluten free items. There’s gluten feee pizza was fluffy and light and the bread was warm and fresh. On top of that the waitstaff is very chill, the views are incredible and it’s on a nice off beaten track out of the busy areas. Will definitely return and highly recommend for celiac folks.

Super good find for pizza and pastas and even more for gluten-free!! We (group of 5) went a couple weeks ago and we were very satisfied by the quality of the food. One of us is coeliac and she had no issues, as they have a good variety of gluten-free dishes and they prepare them in a different oven. The only difference is that her dish had less pasta than the others. Apart from that, all good! Attentive service and amazing views to the city. Would definitely recommend seating outside.

I went there last night to eat pizza. It doesn't make sense to review the view because it's certainly not the pizzeria's merit. But the price of the food is indeed the pizzeria's fault. If you take away the margherita pizza, the others all cost from 12 euros upwards. 12 euros for a vegetarian pizza... are we joking? A Coke costs 4.50. At Coop, it's 90 cents. How much do you have to mark it up? It's useless to say that their costs have increased too because the costs that have increased for us, we pay ourselves, and the costs that have increased for the restaurateurs, we always pay ourselves. What a shame. In light of these prices, it doesn't even make sense to review the quality of the food.

Very good gluten-free pizza, but at a really high price. A margherita pizza with "normal" flour costs €8, while a gluten-free margherita pizza costs €13. In my opinion, this price difference is not justified, even by the fact that it is supposed to be a "gourmet" pizza. Too bad, because the pizza is good. As for the rest, the place has a unique view of the Duomo in Siena.

Restaurant for celiacs near the Church of San Domenico. Beautiful view of the rooftops of Siena. Young and helpful waiters, good food, but I expected a slightly wider choice. As a celiac, I chose pici cacio e pepe, good, but a bit of a gourmet portion, ricciarello always gf small and dry, they didn't bring me gluten-free bread (I didn't ask); my husband had gluten pizza, good, and my daughter had pasta with venison ragù, a nice portion and very good. Bill was normal.

A restaurant with a spectacular view of the rooftops of Siena and the Cathedral: the sunset panorama is truly breathtaking. The evening atmosphere is romantic and well-kept, perfect for a special dinner. The food is excellent, with a wide menu that caters to the needs of coeliacs: many gluten-free options, clearly marked. Great attention to the guests: the owner and all the staff are kind, professional, and attentive to every detail. Highly recommended!

A rather touristy restaurant in a quite hidden alley of Siena. Great for those with celiac disease as they have two kitchens and a separate menu to avoid contamination. Very good gluten-free pici. Typical daily dishes like pici with rabbit or deer ragù. The service is a bit slow but polite, especially when taking the order. Good overall.

On a visit to Siena, while looking for gluten-free places for me, we made a reservation at this restaurant. The other person has no allergies or intolerances, while I am more demanding. First of all, the staff is friendly and kind; we ordered a gluten-free cutting board as an appetizer and they also brought us different bread. The pici - they say you have to try them as they are typical of Siena - were really very good (I can't make comparisons with wheat ones, alas). Great place with a menu for both celiacs and non-celiacs.

We went in a group, and some had pizza while others had main courses: we were all satisfied. It is located in the center, so the view is very picturesque, like a postcard. Fast and friendly staff. Prices are reasonable. Noteworthy is a special menu for celiacs. Well done!

Best gluten free pizza crust in Italy, and possibly the world! Great staff, we opened a bottle of wine that was bad, they replaced it with a better bottle for the original price. I also had the lasagna, it had many delicious layers. Try this restaurant if you are in Siena.

It is perfect for people with celiac disease, there is a special menu and the food is very good. I had the Pici Cacio e Pepe and they were cooked perfectly, not to mention the seasoning. The only downside was that the bread was clearly made days before and was very hard to eat. However, it was delicious. I liked the service and it is a friendly atmosphere. The staff shows humanity, which I particularly appreciate, and they are willing to interact with customers appropriately.

At restaurant Aic, you can feel safe. They have a menu that isn't very extensive but is very good, such as pici cacio e pepe and tagliatelle with mushrooms, with bread included. There are also various pizzas that I haven't tried yet, but I will go.

Finally, I satisfied my craving for Pici cacio e pepe (gluten-free of course) and was pleasantly surprised; both the cooking and the flavor were perfect. For the second course, I had lamb scottadito with roasted potatoes and spinach, and for dessert, the Bacio di Siena. The bread, if made by them, is good; I forgot to ask😉. Truly a perfect dinner, with a reservation made about two hours in advance, and we found a table, with very kind, available staff who were attentive in keeping my gluten-free dishes separate from those with gluten. Excellent service. The restaurant is convenient for parking, spacious, and especially perfect for those who are celiac.

We had dinner here on Christmas Eve and it was definitely the best choice we've made since being in Siena. The place is very quiet with a typical Sienese atmosphere, from the Palio photos to the bottles of Chianti and other local wines scattered around the restaurant. We decided to start the dinner with a platter of cold cuts that is enough for two people, but if you want to save room for the first courses, it can easily serve three. We then continued by ordering: a dish of Pici with wild boar ragù, Pici cacio e pepe, and sliced beef with arugula and Parmesan. What can I say! Everything, absolutely everything, was not only of excellent quality but also exquisite. As Romans, we often eat cacio e pepe, but the one from yesterday was truly good! We paired the dinner with a glass of Chianti D.O.C.G., and there’s little to say other than it was an excellent wine. Finally, we had three baci di Siena, a dessert that could be described as

Terrible service, not recommended at all. We chose this restaurant for the gluten-free dishes, but upon arriving at the restaurant (where we had made a reservation), we were poorly welcomed by the owner who, after sizing us up, relegated us to a side table. During dinner, we noticed how the owner was very attentive to foreign customers or customers of a certain level, while for normal customers, he barely spoke to us or took our orders. In conclusion, both the gluten-free and regular dinner were nothing special, and as for the terrible service, we won’t even go into that... Not recommended at all!

Great restaurant, pizzeria in a fantastic location in Siena: you can see all of Siena from the church of San Domenico. Hats off for being AIC certified and offering not only their own pizza but also a rather varied menu for celiacs. The only "negative" note is that when I called to book a table for 4 people, I was told they were fully booked; nevertheless, we went anyway, and they happily gave us a table! (And there were quite a few available). Prices are a little high! (Cover charge: €2.50, medium draft cola €5.00, coffee €2.50...)

I ate their handmade pici, which were truly exquisite. The only downside was that the portion was half of what my boyfriend (who is not celiac) received, and it was a shame considering how good they were. Additionally, the location is very beautiful and scenic, and the staff is courteous.

The only positive thing about this restaurant is the location and the view: beautiful view and very close to the center. Everything else is awful. I have celiac disease and I read from the reviews that there was a lot of choice on the menu, which is somewhat true, but in the gluten-free menu, they included pages for vegans which are not gluten-free. Food: first course was good, appetizer was awful: I ordered a crostone and received a plate with polenta and ragu and a small plate with a piece of hard, dry, and unheated bread. A chef said: '...when there are these sick people, it’s a pain.' (heard while going to the bathroom) Staff was unfriendly, unkind, and rude. Moreover, the price was excessive for what we ordered.

I usually don't leave negative reviews, but I believe that in this case it could be helpful for the manager to improve their service. I'm from Siena and I had been to this place years ago and had a good experience; furthermore, it has a beautiful view of the city, but alas that's the only positive thing. I sat down at 8:30 PM, the menu arrived at 9:00 PM, and the waiter came to take the order another 10 minutes later, in a very hasty and summary manner... The dishes have a relatively high average price, but the portions I received, along with a presentation that looked like a child's work, left me speechless, and the taste was just adequate. The appetizer of cold cuts arrived without bread, which after several prompts we managed to get brought to us 10 minutes later. Let's speak gently about the pizza my son took. But the icing on the cake was when they brought out the birthday cake (which I had brought in agreement with them) without plates and cutlery; I had to ask the waiters several times for them, who were inattentive and didn't even look at the customers. I can't even give them the excuse of too many customers, because the place had people but it wasn't full. If they work like this on a Tuesday, I shudder to think what they do when they are full! Never again.

This restaurant offers customers excellent service and a breathtaking view, making you feel like you are enjoying its delicious dishes in front of the most beautiful postcard of Siena. The friendliness of the owner and the passion he puts into his work are reflected in his excellent dishes served and presented with originality. In short, a must-stop if you find yourself passing by (or are) in Siena.
