I ordered a sandwich; it wasn't great, but the terrible thing is that part of the sandwich was still frozen, I could have broken my teeth. When I brought it to the attention of the more experienced waiter, he told me he had already mentioned it to the owner, and the owner ignored it. He confessed to me that the place is not equipped to offer a professional service for celiacs. Chilling.

I went there intrigued by the numerous customers and I was satisfied; the meat was good, tender, and flavorful. I ordered about 1 kilo of Dutch ribeye in 3 portions on the plate. However, I expected it to be hot and on a stone plate, but it arrived lukewarm and on normal plates. For the price I paid, around 35 per portion, it wasn't exactly the best, but it was still tasty. For appetizers, I ordered bruschettas, but I didn't enjoy them due to the quality; the bread was dry, toasted, and a bit burnt. Then I had oven-baked potatoes with mortadella, provola cheese, pistachios, and pesto, which were very good. As for sides, the portion of friarielli was very good, though unfortunately, there were few in a small ceramic dish. The wine selection was good; I ordered a Cannonau Costera from Argiolas, which was excellent. I recommend it; it's easy to drink and has a pleasant flavor for the Sardinian territory. For my son, who is celiac, I requested gluten-free bread via WhatsApp, and although they confirmed its availability, it was absent during lunch, which was a bit unprofessional. Thankfully, he enjoyed the potatoes, the meat, and the gluten-free pistachio dessert. For the meat, they also serve it on a hot stone plate, but it depends on the cut and type of meat, so I recommend mentioning it when ordering. The homemade fresh bread was very good for accompanying the sides. I met the owner, Pasquale, a wonderful person, friendly and kind, who advised me to order a mixed meat platter for tasting, maybe next time. For a digestif, I really enjoyed the Don Papa rum from the Philippines, aged in cherry wood barrels for 12 years, a stunning pairing with coffee, brown sugar, and orange slices, with an intense flavor. The fresh lemon delight dessert was also good. As for prices, they might be a little high, but I think it's due to the quality of the meat selections, and I don't think it's suitable for those with limited finances. Anyway, it's also a pub and pizzeria, so it caters to a mixed clientele. The location is a bit isolated; for those coming from Naples, I recommend using a navigator, as it's about a 20-30 minute drive from downtown Naples. We were seated in the rustic internal room, which is nice, but I think I will return for the more airy external terrace since the internal room isn't very suitable due to the lack of air conditioning, and with the grill nearby, the air was sometimes tainted. I had to open a window to refresh the air on a hot day with the sun coming in. Overall, a pleasant experience; I plan to return.

We arrive, we order, and after 40 minutes they tell us that the gluten-free sandwiches are finished. Then, in the end, we receive 2 out of 3 dishes, so one person watches while the others eat, and then eats while the other two watch. I hope this is just an isolated incident and that it’s not always like this. Otherwise, the sandwich was good and so was the rest of what we ate; the bill was definitely a bit expensive.

The meat was excellent, but everything else was lacking. We booked a table outside, but they took us to the first floor where water was dripping on our heads and on the tables. We asked to go downstairs, but there was no space, then magically a spot opened up in the indoor room. Very ambiguous. When it came to ordering, it took a while, and before sending the waiter away, we asked for a summary of the order to make sure nothing was missing. The order arrived, but things were already missing starting with the appetizers. We were missing two baked potatoes and one potato for the celiac girl, the two baked potatoes never arrived, and only one potato for the celiac girl came. (The cheddar used was the industrial creamy one with a slightly bitter taste.) Moving on to the meat (excellent quality), we ordered a rare Tomahawk, a medium-cooked T-bone, and a medium-cooked rib steak. They brought us the two meats (almost 1.5 kg each, as stated by the waiter, the bone is 300 g each and feeds 4 people; 2 kg of meat). The rib steak was overcooked; the two slices of meat with the bone were rare on one side, but well done on the other side as soon as they were served. Half of the meat was salvageable, and it was disappointing because it wasn't as large as the waiter indicated. The bill arrived, and we noticed that the potatoes we ordered were included in the bill, and that the prices per 100 g of meat were different from the menu. OVERALL, a disappointing experience, even though I expected much more.
