The Restaurant La Cambusa at the 2 Lakes offers a variety of seafood dishes in a warm and authentic atmosphere. The kitchen, though marked by some hiccups in service, offers specialties such as fried seafood and mussels in marinara sauce. A good option to consider for those looking for a relaxed dining experience by the lakes.

HOW DELICIOUS!! I had heard good things about this place but had never been there until I received an invitation to lunch. Cozy location with a beautiful view of the lake, attentive staff, smiling and really kind, just like the owner. Fresh food, well-cooked, and also generous portions. It's worth mentioning that we love to eat 😂. To my surprise, being gluten-free, they had an excellent gluten-free menu, with dishes just like the others!! I recommend trying it; I will definitely go back!! ☺️

I had dinner with my parents and my little dog, with prior reservation and strictly indoors with a green pass that we were asked to show only once seated at the table. After a time that I considered too long, we were brought the digital menu; after an even longer time, we were asked if we wanted water. We ordered: appetizer of the ship's cook (ordinary, nothing exceptional), fried seafood (good), Taranto mussels and marinara mussels (which we requested without garlic due to intolerance) and calamarata with anchovies, cherry tomatoes, and bread crumbs. The mussels arrived over 50 minutes after the appetizer. Meanwhile, the calamarata came after another 15 minutes because one of the owners misunderstood our order. Its preparation ended up waiting for everything else. For dessert, I tasted the famous truffle from Pizzo at a rather high price. We left fairly satisfied until we looked at the bill, where we found a beer that we neither ordered nor drank. I called the restaurant to ask about it, and I was told that if I claimed it wasn't ours, then we would receive a credit equal to the price of the beer at the restaurant. It's a pity that we were there on vacation (and you could tell from our accent), and after too many inaccuracies in the service, I doubt we will return if we pass through Messina. Like in other places in the city and province, we regret to note a certain lack of respect towards the customer, with hospitality far from the famous Sicilian warmth that I know well, being half Sicilian.
