Great experience! This is our second time and it’s always a pleasure to return. Il Giappo in Avellino, in addition to its menu—with high-quality dishes ranging from classic to original, all well-executed—offers a service that truly puts the customer first, making it not just a dinner but a genuine gastronomic journey. Nando, the director, was particularly kind not only in guiding us but also in accommodating food intolerances and the younger people at our table, for whom they proposed dishes and drinks suited to their tastes. I experimented with a flambé salmon nigiri, one with sea bass, the chef's gunkan, and a very interesting Uromaki with truffle oil. Everything was excellent. We live in the U.K., and anytime I am in Avellino, this is a place where I enjoy stopping for something truly interesting and special.
