We ended up in this refuge by mistake. Without much hope, I tried to ask a waitress if they had anything gluten-free, and to my surprise, she responded that she is also celiac and that the cook in the kitchen is her mother. As the girl specified, though, there is only one kitchen, so it's not possible to guarantee 100% safety. When ordering, I asked if the goulash was available gluten-free, and rightly so, the waitress told me it is made with flour and therefore contains gluten. However, she then said that maybe her mother had prepared some for her, and she went to check. In the end, I was able to taste the goulash with polenta and the polenta with melted cheese, both delicious. The menu also had many gluten-free options, such as polenta, ribs, and even desserts. The prices are a bit high but justified by the quality of the food and the location of the refuge. There was no surcharge on our bill for the gluten-free options. I would also like to emphasize that I am a symptomatic celiac and I felt great. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for the kindness and generosity of the waitress who shared with me what had been prepared for her! I will definitely return if I have the chance.
