Café Madrid | Senza glutine a Cangas del narcea

Siamo andati a Cangas perché sono celiaco ed è pubblicizzato come una città senza glutine. Siamo andati al Café Madrid perché volevamo provare il cachopo, che è famoso lì. Abbiamo anche ordinato i rotoli di cecina, che erano buoni, anche se un po' freddi. In generale, il cibo era buono e il servizio era rapido e attento. Riguardo al glutine, inizierò dicendo che ti servono due fette di pane Schär leggermente tiepide. Come celiaco, non sono particolarmente esigente, ma poiché eravamo nella città famosa, avrebbero potuto mettere un po' più di sforzo. Per quanto riguarda le opzioni senza glutine, non hanno un menù speciale; devi solo chiedere al cameriere se possono adattare qualcosa per te. E per quanto riguarda la contaminazione crociata, beh, devi semplicemente fidarti di loro. Non mi sono ammalato, il che è qualcosa. D'altra parte, riguardo alla città in generale, anche se è vero che ci sono abbastanza ristoranti con opzioni senza glutine, e almeno quando menzioni la tua condizione non sembrano allarmati e capiscono di cosa stai parlando, non mi è sembrato comunque un vero e proprio paese senza glutine. Non ci sono ristoranti 100% senza glutine dove non devi preoccuparti di nulla; piuttosto, tutti i ristoranti offrono opzioni senza glutine accanto a quelle contenenti glutine, e devi solo sperare che seguano i protocolli. Non ci sono panetterie in città che fanno prodotti senza glutine, né negozi specializzati. Come qualcuno di Valladolid, direi che è altrettanto buona quanto Cangas, ma è meno promossa. In conclusione, la situazione senza glutine della città è un mix di cose.

The food is excellent, with products of great quality and an incredible price (up to €20 per person). Probamos el tomate, with a sabor spectacular, a tomato de verdad; el cachopo, increíble, suave y tierno; y de postre a flan de queso sencillamente delicioso. Tienen the prize at the best cachopo de España and a diploma at the best pincho, and this is nota el level. Son muy cuidadosos with the food sin gluten and cualquier allergia, and prestan una atención special a evitar la contaminación cruzada, algo que valoro mucho porque soy muy sensitive además de celíaca. Including the pan with gluten from Schär, tostado with mantequilla, está riquísimo. The trato is insuperable: cercanos, atentos y amables, de los que hacen te sientas como en casa. Llenos de details, todo de verdad de calidad. The food is excellent, made with high-quality ingredients and offered at an unbeatable price (around €20 per person). We had the tomato, which actually tastes like real tomato; the cachopo, tender and perfectly cooked; and for dessert, an amazing cheesecake flan. They’ve won the award for the best cachopo in Spain and a diploma for the best pincho, and you can really tell why. They are extremely careful with gluten-free food and all types of allergies, paying special attention to avoiding cross-contamination —something I value deeply, as I’m very sensitive and celiac myself. Even the Schär gluten-free bread, toasted with butter, tastes delicious. The service is exceptional —kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making you feel at home.
