Si prega di notare che tutti i piatti in questo posto sono senza glutine e lattosio. Ho ordinato l'ossobuco ed era delizioso, ma è arrivato un po' freddo sul tavolo (come se fosse rimasto troppo a lungo in cucina prima di essere servito). Il mio ragazzo, d'altra parte, ha avuto il problema inverso: le sue penne genovese erano troppo calde. Ha anche detto che erano salate. La torta dessert era poco impressionante. Inoltre, i bicchieri di vino sono inspiegabilmente costosi (costano come alcuni cocktail). In generale, non ci sentivamo inclini a tornare.

Interesting new Italian eatery just opened up in a very competitive area of Mitte. It's very close to Torstaße and as a result needs to be on top of its game if it has any chance of succeeding. Cheap Italian pizza and pasta restaurants are very numerous in this area but this is not one of these! This is a niche Italian restaurant specialising in gluten and lactose free Italian staples like Carbanara and Lasagne. The ambience in the restaurant is rather interesting with a glass fronted kitchen so you can see into the inner workings of a busy professional kitchen. Nice touch. A unique glass elevator takes you downstairs (you can use the stairs!) to the toilets. It's a little 'clinical for my tastes but if modern is your thing, you will like it. Service was great. Attentive and knowledgeable. Perfect balance. The food was also well above par. My carbanara was perfectly prepared and the lasagne my wife had was equally well cooked. Salad was a little bland and needed something to lift it up. Only 2 small issues that need to be mentioned was that 1) we waited for a good 40mins for our main courses, which i felt was not justified as it was not a completely full sitting when we were there and 2) for the money I really expected to be blown away by hand made pasta but, unfortunately, the pasta on all our dishes certainly did not taste or look like hand made to us. I ended the meal with a very stodgy dessert I couldn't have finished even if I had wanted to. All in all at €150 for 3 people, value for money is definitely lacking here. Recommended?....possibly with caveats. If value is not your number one priority and you need lactose or gluten free then give it a try as you probably won't be disappointed. Otherwise, there are far better Italian offerings in the area.

Aggiornamento: Purtroppo, ora ridurrei la mia valutazione a zero se potessi. Dopo due ore, ho iniziato a sentirmi molto male, con dolori addominali e infiammazione. Questo ha reso l'intera esperienza molto peggiore di quanto mi aspettassi. Valutazione iniziale: 2 stelle L'esperienza culinaria, il servizio e l'atmosfera sono stati tutti fantastici. Il personale era cordiale, l'atmosfera molto piacevole e il cibo stesso era davvero delizioso: i sapori e il gusto erano assolutamente in sintonia, mi è piaciuto molto. Allora perché solo 2 stelle? Sfortunatamente, ho trovato un capello nel mio pasto. Per me, questo è semplicemente inaccettabile in qualsiasi ristorante. Soprattutto in un posto che si prende così tanto cura di offrire piatti senza glutine e senza lattosio, ci si aspetta che le basi come l'igiene alimentare siano garantite. Se possono gestire esigenze dietetiche così complesse, evitare qualcosa di così semplice come un capello nel cibo dovrebbe essere la parte più semplice. A loro merito, il personale si è scusato e mi ha anche offerto il tè omaggio, il che ho apprezzato. Tuttavia, l'esperienza mi ha lasciato deluso nel complesso. Spero davvero che affrontino questo problema, perché altrimenti questo ristorante ha il potenziale per essere eccellente.

Fantastic Italian restaurant that is 100% gluten free and also lactose free. Great vibe with large open windows in summer and comfortable seating. The pasta dishes were all excellent, and they also had really nice beverages including non alcoholic aperitifs. The service was great and fast. Would be perfect for a date night or celebrations as well. My non coeliac friends also loved the food so much. As a coeliac myself, I'm super glad this new place exists in Berlin!
