I often ordered pizzoccheri and sciatt as takeout without gluten. However, the last time there must have been some mix-up in the kitchen... I was unwell for three days!!!!! Be careful!

We tried both pizzoccheri and schiat, both were good, but we would have liked a few more desserts...nice place, courteous staff!

Excellent food and a truly characteristic place. All the appetizers and first courses are gluten-free, and upon reservation, even the sciatt and pizzoccheri. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

We ate some delicious gluten-free sciatt. There is a wide availability of products (all second courses are gluten-free) and the food is excellent. The staff is very kind and helpful.

A typical Valtellina restaurant inside the old family sawmill transformed into a convivial place: completely wooden-clad rooms that make you feel in a warm environment. I appreciated the reservation system via messaging: just make the request (in the format they indicated), and they will respond as soon as possible with the confirmation if available. The menu is varied and rich in traditional recipes (with the option to request some gluten-free dishes, upon request and reservation), generous portions, characterized by super genuine flavors that envelop you! I have been to La Rasiga several times, and I highly recommend the polenta of 'Rasigot', the second courses based on deer, and the gnocchetti of polenta, speck, and grana: everything is fabulous! The staff is courteous, kind, and always present. Honest and balanced bill, in line with the quality and quantity. I highly recommend it; see you soon!

Excellent restaurant serving typical Valtellinese cuisine, located just steps from the vibrant heart of Bormio. Equipped with a large outdoor parking and housed in the architecture of the ancient family sawmill from the 1400s (from which it takes its name), La Rasiga is a family-run restaurant, where the atmosphere is intimate, rustic, and very welcoming. We dined in the large ground-floor hall, entirely clad in wood and furnished in mountain style, featuring characteristic elements of Alpine tradition and the ancient tools of the sawmill on display. It is a truly unique environment. We were served with great competence, kindness, and courtesy by the staff, who were able to advise us well on our dish choices. Although a tasting menu was available, we preferred to order à la carte to try different dishes and share them. We sampled the bis sciàtt and pizzoccheri as our first courses - delicious! - where the sciàtt (typical buckwheat fritters) were fried to perfection and the soft, melting cheese inside was truly delightful. IMPORTANT: Please note that if you have allergies or intolerances, you can also order gluten-free options when reserving. Following this, we had the wild game ravioli with butter and sage, which I found really excellent with a flavorful but not overpowering filling. For the main course, I had the marinated deer with polenta (I chose a very delicate taragna polenta with a delicious cheesy finish), while my companion tackled a challenging tzigoiner (literally "meat on a stick" in Valtellinese tradition), a sort of "skewer" of thinly sliced beef rolled with bacon around a wooden spruce stick. Special mention for the dessert of the day, a homemade cake off the menu with buckwheat and blueberries, fragrant, soft, and just the right amount of sweetness. Personally, we had a wonderful time and will definitely return for a second round the next time we are in Bormio, especially since the menu is very varied and one dinner is not enough to try all the dishes! A warm, welcoming environment where - despite the spacious dimensions - it is still possible to dine with a degree of privacy, attentive and smiling service, truly excellent dishes, and more than reasonable prices make La Rasiga a perfect restaurant to dine and relax after a day of skiing! Congratulations to the entire staff and thank you again for the lovely evening!
