If you are lactose intolerant, stay away. Last weekend I stayed at this hotel with my family. Nothing to say about the room but the breakfast was poor. I am lactose intolerant and communicated in advance (with more than one email) my intolerance, asking for confirmation of suitable products for breakfast. I was told there was no problem. However, when it came time for breakfast, besides lactose-free milk, I was offered some packaged cookies and NOTHING ELSE. The breakfast is a buffet with an abundant selection of sweet products and a small choice of savory. I would have expected to be able to choose what to eat, obviously from a smaller selection, but still a choice. When I complained about the proposal of cookies and nothing else, I was told that they don't have many lactose-intolerant guests, mostly they have celiac ones. BUT I ASKED BEFORE BOOKING. In fact, I was told, "Why, madam, what would you have wanted?" as if to say I should be satisfied with those sad cookies offered. Certainly, the hotel is not obliged to have lactose-free products, but there is an obligation to honesty. Because I paid EXACTLY like the others, not less, but I was treated as less. No one expects a dedicated buffet for lactose-intolerant guests, but a small selection of products, otherwise have the honesty to warn the customer that they are free to choose whether or not to stay. I also emphasize that the products present for breakfast did not have labels with names and ingredients, as required by regulations.

Located on the lakeside of Colico, near the docks of the Navigation of the lake, this hotel is situated in a historic building, renovated mainly in the rooms and in some common areas. The breakfast is excellent and very varied, offering options for celiacs and lactose intolerant guests. It is curious that some foods and drinks require an extra charge (but we are only in a three-star hotel). The parking area is convenient, especially during the season, not adjacent but reachable in a few steps. The staff is kind, and the location at the corner at the start of the promenade can be quite noisy in summer. Pets are allowed.
