TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, especially from the service perspective. I cannot evaluate the food because more than a lunch it was a tasting. There were 4 of us for lunch, we booked at 1:30 PM and by the time we arrived, got seated, and figured out what to eat, some time passed, as it normally does. 4 people, two with gluten and lactose intolerances, we decided after reading the menu to ask the kitchen to make them a mix of things we could all eat without making 4 different orders, thus facilitating the service. The food arrived around 2 PM, fairly quickly, and they served us two shrimp tartares on a generous bed of avocado and 3 rolls of 8, fairly simple, tuna, avocado, and salmon essentially, but with the intolerance requests it was acceptable, even though there wasn’t much effort put into creativity. Up to this point everything was normal, we had no high expectations, it was simply a lunch among friends wanting to eat something good. While we were eating these things, calmly believing that more would come, the waiter leaned over our table and said, “the kitchen is closed, do you want anything else?” In quite an unfriendly manner. I want to preface that I do not question the kitchen hours of restaurants, but I have never experienced something like this… it is customary to inform the customer either when ordering if the kitchen is about to close, or before the kitchen closes to ask if we want anything else and not after. Considering that we mentioned making a mix for them, it would have also been courteous to ask if it was sufficient or if we wanted more. As a result, we ate two tartares among 4 and 6 rolls per person for 100 euros with a bottle of wine… quite excessive considering the amount and at this point the non-existent courtesy and service. To add to the situation, the waiter's attitude while we finished our bottle of wine (ordered in the expectation of a real lunch) was to start cleaning, washing, and closing everything, and at the cash register while paying he was deliberately chatting on the phone instead of looking at us and answering our questions to split the bill and the type of payment. A nicely furnished place is not enough if everything else leaves much to be desired. The restaurant business is something else. NEVER AGAIN.
