Poggio Alloro is a small corner of paradise. When feeling particularly stressed, it’s a remedy for our minds. Completely immersed in nature, it utilizes and respects it, being growers of organic agriculture. They cultivate vineyards, olive trees, vegetables, saffron, and raise Chianina cattle, rabbits, and poultry. At reception, you will find Mrs. Letizia and Leonardo, always kind and ready to meet all your needs. Being allergic and intolerant to many things, they have modified and adapted the menu according to our allergies. Renzo, the owner, makes you feel as if you are part of the family. Filippo in the dining room is smart, ready to listen to all your needs. Everything you eat is organic and delicious. The pool allowed us to cool off on those hot days (we were there on August 13th). The landscape is a dreamy Italian scene. Andrea gave us a tour of the farmhouse, showing us the vineyard, how they produce their wine, the cellar, and the barn with the cows. He then let us taste their wines with cured meats. We will definitely return. In conclusion, Poggio Alloro is a small Italian dream and a little corner of paradise. Thank you all.
