A stroll in Lipari! We stumbled upon this trattoria! Penne alla norma, penne alla trapanese, and pasta with black squid ink (😂) cannot be quantified or described with an adjective regarding the goodness of the dishes, the courtesy of the staff, and the sweetness of the owner! Everything was excellent! Even the gluten-free rice and other gluten-free products (my wife is intolerant). No star rating can suffice! We are from Paternò on vacation! But WE WILL RETURN! Warmest compliments!

We chose this restaurant because other reviews mentioned gluten-free options. From this perspective, it was a bit disappointing; I was told I could choose anything from the menu except for the fried dishes, but then when I ordered a scaloppina al marsala, it seemed to be a problem. In the end, it was resolved as I was served it prepared like a thin slice, so without flour, not a real scaloppina. That day, there was also no gluten-free bread. Perhaps the communication of these alternative options could improve. The raw materials were still very good; we didn’t particularly like the caponata, as the vinegar flavor was a bit strong. Maybe it was just a wrong order; otherwise, the place is nice, although a bit touristy.
