Osteria Romana Trezzo offers an authentic menu of Roman cuisine with gluten-free options, such as the tasty cacio e pepe. The atmosphere is cozy, although online booking can be a bit complicated.

A menu entirely of Roman food. They have gluten-free pasta, and the cacio e pepe is very good. The only problem is the online reservation system, which is a bit complicated.

Food was okay, we had the jacket potato with cheese and truffle which was very good and a carbonara that was too salty and peppery. I just want to point out that the reservation process cannot be so cumbersome: I had to call the number provided, which was answered by a recorded voice informing me that I would receive a WhatsApp message with instructions to follow. The aforementioned WhatsApp arrived immediately and told me 1. Save the number in contacts to be able to click on the link in the message and 2. Click on the link and fill out a form with the reservation details, plus any allergies, intolerances, or dietary preferences. Once this was done, I received a WhatsApp message saying that my reservation had been taken and I would be notified when it would be confirmed. From there, I waited almost 24 hours and finally received the table confirmation message. It doesn't end there, because on the day of my reservation I receive a WhatsApp message and simultaneous email asking me to confirm my presence. Not even in the center of Milan, where I live, is it this difficult to reserve a table. I would recommend reviewing the procedure as you risk many abandoning the mission before reaching the end.
