I cannot suggest stopping here more!!!! 1. I cannot eat gluten and I love when I can find something fresh to eat. They use quality ingredients and I have yet to have any problems. This has become a regular spot for me. Love when I can find something reliably gluten free!!!! 2. The food ACTUALLY HAS FLAVOR. Don’t even get me started on the salsas to compliment the food. That alone deserves 5 stars. 3. The vibes. ALWAYS TOP! They are always ready to have a quick chat and the music elevates the energy. 4. Convenience. I stumbled across the truck while walking my dog. It’s simple to place an order and do a quick lap (10min) and the food will be ready. 5. In a land of many wonderful Italian restaurants, do yourself a favor and TRY SOMETHING NEW!!! This is the perfect place for you if you enjoy flavors and food made with love.

Quality gluten-free street food. When we're in the Porta Romana area, Pedro's arepas are a must-try!

Fantastic food, and on top of that, perfect for me since I am gluten intolerant, because arepas are gluten-free!!

One summer is too short to try and retry all the arepas from El Caminante! For someone with celiac disease like me, eating gluten-free quality street food with the assurance of the AIC certification is almost a dream. Until El Caminante makes that dream come true, I have tasted Lecce, Caracas, and Maracaibo and have always been extremely satisfied with fresh ingredients and unique deliciousness. Highly recommended also for the mojito and for the strategic seaside location with easy parking availability.

Great culinary experience, excellent quality food full of creativity! Exceptional flavors even for the drinks. Everything is certified gluten-free since the arepas are made with corn flour. Highly recommend it.
