I cannot say enough good things about GluFree Bakery! As someone who has been gluten free for a long time (14 years!), I’ve tasted a lot of bad gluten free food, especially baked goods - however GluFree is making some delicious, high quality gluten free food! I had the pistachio croissant on my first day in Milan, and it blew me away! I’ve had attempts at gluten free pastry before, and although the taste usually was good they usually end up being gummy and dense between the layers. The croissant I had at GlueFree was unlike any gluten free pastry I’ve had before! It was soft, buttery, light and flaky, exactly how a normal non-gf croissant should be! I came back the next day and bought a savoury pastry and some bread, and every baked good I’ve had maintained the same quality. The owners were also incredibly kind and even remembered me when I returned the next day, even going so far as to gift me a very tasty cream puff! 🥹 I will absolutely return when I visit Milan again and will be encouraging even my non-gf family and friends to make a stop at this bakery! I tasted their plain croissant. The best gluten-free one I have ever tried. Even though it wasn't freshly baked, it remained moist and the layering was excellent. These gluten-free products are incredibly complicated to make.

The best croissant I've ever had: crispy on the outside and super flaky on the inside (you can really taste the butter🫠) and rich in filling!! Delicious, I'm still dreaming about them. Fabulous cinnamon roll! Super risen and soft, full of cinnamon. Even the savory items and bread are delicious (top arancini, they are Sicilian😉). I will return to Milan just to go back to GluFree!!

This place has its pros and cons. The taste of the products is very good, especially the brioche, one of the best I have ever tasted. We also tried the focaccia with gratin fennel and the arancino with eggplant, which were also very good. The downside of this place is that it has exorbitant prices. I understand that the raw materials are gluten-free and of extreme quality, but they do not meet the needs of an average population. The croissant cost 3.90 euros, two pastries 5 euros, the arancino 6.50 euros, and the focaccia with gratin fennel 4.80 euros. The most outrageous item on the menu is the toast at 12 euros. I understand the quality, but with these prices, it is not a place that can be frequented often. Being celiac, I have visited various gluten-free places, and none have such prices.

I also had a chat with the bakery manager, and you can feel that he puts passion into what he does. I have to say that I found the best gluten-free brioche here. I had the pistachio one and I must say it was fantastic, not too sweet, with plenty of cream. The dough was good. The cappuccino with almond milk was very good. My son finally found the lactose-free brioche with cream. He said it was delicious. He also got the small pizza with lactose-free mozzarella. He said that too was like a normal small pizza and the taste is very good. The only downside is the price. I was hoping for a slightly lower one. We will definitely come back.

I went there twice (for breakfast and lunch) and tried many varieties, each one better than the last. The prices are fair considering the quality of the ingredients and the artisanal preparation. The best gluten-free croissant I've ever tried, so good that you wonder if it's gluten-free! I had the ricotta croissant which was really delicious and super stuffed, and the apricot croissant was very good; the cannoncino didn't blow me away, but that's just personal taste, it was too hard. The price seems fair to me for the quality of the products, considering the high cost of gluten-free raw materials and being in Milan. It's a pity the place is a bit small. The staff was lovely too, they treated us with 3 pieces of brownies. Definitely worth a visit! Highly recommended!

I was at Ospedale al Pini for work and I took a lunch break in total relaxation. The staff is very kind and the place is welcoming. I had arancini with octopus and potatoes, ragù, and eggplant, but I also took home some fresh bread. Bagels and pizzas for a quick lunch without giving up on dessert!! I recommend it for anyone in the area looking to have breakfast or lunch. The place closes at 6 PM but is open continuously.

Mediocre pastry shop; we all know how to make gluten-free cookies at home, poor in croissants and cream puffs (practically zero), I’ve eaten better pizza, and until now I wouldn’t have said anything because everyone does what they can in terms of production. Then came the sharp comment from the cashier directly to my boyfriend because we paid in two installments. "That’s why I told you to pay at the end." Needless to say, I hadn’t experienced such rudeness in a long time. There is still a long way to go.

Good place for gluten-free, but I was told that for amounts under €5, an automatic algorithm at the register doesn't allow payment by credit card. I had to pay €3.50. It seems like a bizarre technology: in Milan in 2021, I can pay for a simple coffee with a card practically anywhere.

It is a small shop on via Curtatone, almost at the corner with via Lamarmora. It was a recent discovery due to family needs! For those who suffer from celiac disease, it is definitely great alternative choices. They offer everything from bread to focaccias, savory pies, pizzas, all well presented and tasty. They also make excellent Sicilian arancini, very flavorful. When it comes to cakes and sweets, there is a wide selection, they also do custom cakes and the prices are good!

Furthermore, I once witnessed a moment of reprimand from the owner towards a young man, and fair enough, it’s their business, but at least have the care to close the kitchen door, especially since customers can see everything through the window. As for the rest, I hope you can regain the passion and enthusiasm to offer your visitors (many of whom are also foreign) a feeling of home, which is a luxury for a coeliac eating out. You have a really good product, it’s worth it!
