I went to Barot for a pizza round and on May 1st to eat a sandwich with pulled pork, in both cases I ate divinely! The pizza was soft and tasty, while the sandwich with the meat was crunchy and succulent. The owners are very nice, they really make you feel at home. The location is immersed in greenery, there's a sense of peace...! I can't wait to try their cooking as well, although I'm sure it's amazing.

I've been coming to Barot for a long time now, and every time I get the same feeling: that of being at home. The atmosphere is always welcoming and relaxed. Marco and Gaia are two fantastic hosts: kind, attentive, and never intrusive, with a natural approach that makes you feel instantly at ease. Last time, we went on the pizza tour, and I have to say, everything was delicious. Barot's gluten-free pizza is truly amazing, just as good as the regular one, available in so many different shades and flavors. It was truly a pleasure, and, as always, we'll be happy to return.

Gaia and Marco were wonderful hosts whose pasta making class was a perfect activity for our vacation in Monferrato. The food is delicious whether you are gluten free or not.

Gaia and Marco are a couple who open the doors of their home and their hearts to you. They put in 100% effort to make you experience Barot! We spent May 1st with them enjoying a special menu featuring pulled pork: super! I woke up in the morning wanting to eat another one!! The homemade bread was also delicious, of course gluten-free!!! We can't wait to return to try more! Highly recommended!

A very pleasant surprise. Barot home restaurant is a corner of genuineness and flavor. The pleasure of eating gluten-free and vegetarian options without compromise, using local products and following the seasonality of ingredients. Starters of cheeses and cured meats produced by surrounding farms. The atmosphere is welcoming and family-like, and the service offered by Gaia and Marco is always attentive and friendly. An excellent choice for those looking for tasty local dishes with attention and care for the origin and locality of the proposed products. Highly recommended!

I went to the bar for the gluten-free pizza night and it was a show! The gluten-free pizza was super delicious, even the fried pizza version! I’m happy that I finally found a gluten-free place in Monferrato that has these themed nights! We will definitely see each other at the next event.

Absolutely 5 stars, for several reasons. Firstly, the kindness of the two owners: simple and very friendly people, perfect for the concept of Home Restaurant. Moreover, finding a completely vegan menu - not always available - and 100% gluten-free is a sort of miracle in Monferrato. The dishes are simple but very tasty, and their gluten-free focaccia is something spectacular. Few seats, a large wooden table to eat and chat with the owners. Perfect for a Sunday lunch getaway in the midst of nature.

Brunch at Baròt is the perfect Sunday! Gaia and Marco are two super welcoming hosts and their cuisine is delicious (and gluten-free)! A noteworthy highlight is Gaia's croissants, flaky and tasty, good both sweet and savory. We will definitely return to visit them to try their seasonal menus and to say hello to Togo and Sirius!

Ferragosto Lunch On the occasion of the Ferragosto lunch, I went with my family to this beautiful home restaurant in the hills of Monferrato, warmly welcomed by the hosts Marco and Gaia. We enjoyed a delicious fixed menu that was completely gluten-free and homemade, all accompanied by a fantastic focaccia made by them, obviously gluten-free! We also appreciated that all the dishes on the menu were prepared with a focus on local ingredients, many of which came from their garden; nothing was left to chance! Not to forget the fabulous location immersed in the greenery of the Monferrato hills and the friendliness of the hosts. We will not miss the opportunity to return and highly recommend everyone to try this experience.
