We rocked up at Alium hungry after a day's walking. The host welcomed us and helped with an English version of the menu. We enjoyed the meal which was gluten free with vegetarian options. It was quiet but only early evening. A good choice.

We ordered the vegan meatballs and vegan squid, both were absolutely delicious. The basket of bread was made from lentil flour and had seeds in it, it didn't even taste gluten free to me. Went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised!

Our vegan tapas dinner was fantastic! You can sense the chef's passion for crafting delightful dishes with balanced flavors and textures. Their menu has 50% vegan dishes and is entirely gluten-free. During our dinner for two, we were delighted and satisfied with four tapas and one dessert. 1. Mango Salmorejo: The best cold soup I've ever tasted! 2. Patatas Bravas: A healthier take on a classic favorite. 3. Red Cabbage with Calabizo: It melted in our mouths, with a smoky grilled flavor beautifully complemented by a touch of crunchy sweetness. 4. Veggie Meatballs: A hearty and satisfying stew. 5. Chocolate Mousse Passion Fruit Tart: An absolute must-try dessert! I wholeheartedly recommend Taperia Alium to anyone wanting to experience delicious vegan meals.

Amazing discovery! We happened to be around the area when we saw this place in the distance, tapas bar. We got in not so sure what to expect since the place was empty. First great impression, the owner/waitress was super attentive, kind and very helpful. Deep explanation about the cheeses and also the wines was a plus. When she started bringing the food then we started to certainly enjoy the experience, different touches of creativity in each traditional dish. The mayonnaise, the skid, the salsa, the smoky pisto... Oh my I want to return to try the rest. We need to support these kind of businesses, local with a modern twist, excellent service, people that really enjoy what they do and it shows!
