Foster's Hollywood offers a tasty experience with particular attention to gluten-free needs, especially thanks to Erica's thoughtful service. However, it's important to note that some corporate restrictions may limit takeout options for gluten-free foods. The overall atmosphere remains friendly and welcoming.

Everything was very good, and a special mention to Erica who took care of us very well. It's a pleasure to be treated so well and have everything explained so well. Nothing to do with another colleague who, on the contrary, seemed like he didn't want to be here attending to us. With a celiac person in the group, they were able to adapt everything and we had no issues. Erica had a very nice gesture with us, especially with the gluten-free person, thank you again!

What happened last night was completely absurd. We ordered dinner to pick up at the restaurant through the app, one of the dishes was a salmon sandwich, we went to pick up the order at the time we set and five minutes later they delivered it to us. We got home and saw that it was a completely different sandwich (chicken), we looked at the order ticket and saw that the salmon sandwich was crossed out. We called the restaurant, and a person answered us, repeating the same phrase (which was barely understandable) about 15 times, "We called you twice, but there was no communication," which is a lie because those calls are logged on the phone. Even if they had called us, what would have been the point if we already had the order at home after going to get it? Was it so difficult to say from the beginning that they didn't have the salmon sandwich available? Especially after being there in person... What if I had been intolerant to some food and ate the sandwich without them saying anything? I understand that we all make mistakes and that in stressful situations with a full dining room this can happen, but there were 3 occupied tables when we went to get the order. The manager had no choice but to offer us the sandwich for free from the order on the closest day to its new availability. You can't work worse.

Today I had dinner at Foster's in CC Loranca. They were very attentive and kind. Very mindful of the protocol for celiacs.

If you're celiacs, it's better not to waste your time. I'll summarize my fiasco from last night. We entered and indicated that we were 2 celiacs, and they gave us 1 gluten-free menu and a normal one. We started looking at the meager catalog of dishes they have, about 8-9 at most, and after a long half hour, they came to ask us if we had decided. We told them we wanted the gluten-free pizza and the ribs, and 10 minutes later they came and told us they only had nachos as a starter and the ribs, that the rest were not gluten-free. I don’t understand this because they were serving fries to everyone, and it’s as simple as frying them in a separate pan, but it seemed they didn’t want to work. Given the situation and that we could only eat what they suggested from the 9 dishes on the menu, we decided to leave and go have dinner elsewhere.

We arrived to order takeout. One person has a gluten-free diet, it’s not that they are intolerant, but they don’t eat gluten. We asked for a hamburger with gluten-free bread, if possible. They told us they do have bread, but they cannot put gluten-free bread outside the premises due to the establishment's rules. We told them it’s not due to intolerance or allergies, so not to worry. They said it was impossible. Well, we accepted and ordered something else since if you want something gluten-free to deliver, they will not bring it to you. We ordered two kids' meals with ice cream for dessert. Impossible, they don’t serve ice cream to go due to company policy, here we go again. We were tempted to order at the table and as soon as it's served tell them that we don’t want it anymore and have them pack it to go, but with the company's "rules" and the waitress needing to call the manager for each dish because she doesn’t know how to go backward, we didn’t want to waste any more time. So we paid and left. We presented a discount coupon and, SURPRISE, the machine couldn’t read the code and they couldn’t offer us a solution because they confirmed that the promotion is active, but their machine couldn't read it and they didn’t apply it. It feels like a hidden camera show, so let’s see if you can guess where we don't plan to go ever again?

The service is good, but having a blast of cold air (according to them due to the mall) makes you feel cold while eating in February. And the fact that they don't have anything gluten-free leaves much to be desired.

Last night, we had dinner with 6 people in this place, one of whom was an 8-year-old girl with celiac disease. At 9 pm, we received the menu, and everyone made their order. The girl ordered a hamburger with just the bun and the beef, something so incredibly simple. They brought us some starters and then the main dishes, but the girl did not receive her hamburger. It was 10:30 pm, an hour and a half after we had ordered. I asked why the girl's food had not come yet, to which the waitress replied that the meat takes time to grill. I responded that it was just a piece of meat that requires no preparation. I waited to see what would happen, and after 20 minutes, she came and told me the hamburger could not be made, offering me a rib instead. I replied that I didn't want that because she is an 8-year-old girl. I believe if they didn't have hamburger buns or the meat—which I highly doubt because a piece of meat does not contain gluten—they could offer something else. I asked to speak with the manager, but it seemed my request didn't matter. I casually mentioned that in other chains, like Burger King, you can order something gluten-free and have it ready in 5 minutes. The reply was that they are more prepared than us and have a higher volume of orders. Seriously, when you advertise a gluten-free option in a large franchise like Foster Hollywood, you first need to have options because you know very well that there are many people with celiac disease, and among them, many children. For example, my daughter ended up not having dinner, and I had to go with her to another franchise called VIP, where they served her, and the wait time was under 10 minutes. Second, you need to have trained staff for these kinds of situations because it's as simple as saying at the beginning that we cannot offer this option. I didn’t file a complaint because I knew they would handle it poorly, but I wanted to leave this review so that people who have a case of celiac disease avoid this place. This is not an isolated case; it is the second time I have visited this place, and something similar happened the first time, leaving the girl without food, but I still gave them another chance in which they did not fulfill what they advertise... GLUTEN-FREE MENU.

Embarrassing situation experienced yesterday. Restaurant that advertises a gluten-free menu and when we go after making a reservation, before sitting down we ask for confirmation that there is a gluten-free menu. The person serving us tells us that there is no gluten-free menu, and after we express our confirmation, she says that there is a menu but no staff to prepare the food. And she remained so unbothered and didn’t even apologize. Thank goodness there are many other options to eat gluten-free in the shopping center, but really, a zero for the service and the misleading information they provide.
