Gluten-free sandwiches are inedible. I ordered some to go with bacon and it literally contained a sad strip of bacon and the bread was completely raw! To the trash it went…

Very disappointing experience with the supposed "gluten-free menu". The restaurant advertises gluten-free options, leading anyone with celiac disease to think they can eat there with minimal safety. But when you ask, they explain that it is actually not suitable for celiacs because there is cross-contamination in the kitchen, and it is only meant for "intolerants". This is a very serious contradiction. If there is cross-contamination, it cannot be responsibly presented as a gluten-free option. For a celiac person, cross-contamination can cause a very strong reaction and serious health consequences. The problem is not just the food, but the way it is communicated. Advertising gluten-free food and then clarifying, once you're there, that it is not safe for celiacs, is profoundly misleading and can put at risk people who rely on this information to protect their health. In matters of allergies and diseases like celiac disease, there is no room for ambiguity. Clear protocols must be guaranteed to avoid cross-contamination, or it should not be promoted as gluten-free. A very irresponsible management of an issue that directly affects people’s health.

I feel obliged to write this review because about 3 weeks ago I ordered a gluten-free Vienna sausage to take away, and when I got home, I saw that they hadn't included the frankfurter. The sandwich only had the supposed frankfurter, cheese, and bacon. I called the establishment, and they told me it was a mistake. They said that the next time I came in, I should mention what happened (I thought they would compensate me somehow; how naive I was). I went back today and told the girl who served me to mention it to a manager to see if they would say something. To my surprise, I didn't get a simple apology or even a mere excuse from anyone. I feel quite hurt because I used to order quite often, and not even a simple apology is quite lamentable for the treatment from the franchise. I hope many people can see this review because that day I was left without a frankfurter and with an incomplete order. But the next time it could be any of you ordering food and not expecting anything in return. Be attentive to your orders because it seems the employees are not.

Good service from the waiters. Cozy space, if it's not peak hour there's a lot of tranquility and background jazz/classical music that allows for working or relaxing. The sandwiches are quite varied and have gluten-free options. Highly recommended for passing the time, having a quick lunch, or enjoying a snack.
