Really cute café with great vegan and gluten-free cakes. My favorite was the apricot-poppy seed cake. Very delicious and highly recommended. The only downside is that the coffee wasn't great and the milk for my cappuccino was way too hot. That's why there’s one star taken off.

28.05.2026 - My subjective opinion: A small but very fine selection of cakes and tortes. Gluten-free and with vegan cream! Perfect for anyone struggling with intolerances! The owner treated us very kindly. You can tell she runs her little café with a lot of love. The ambiance is cozily rustic! There is also a short report in the ARD Mediathek if you enter the name of the café in the search box. This also gave us a first impression!

I discovered the small cozy café through an NDR North Report on YouTube. And logically, the very next day we were on site because I have been eating sugar-free and gluten-free for a while now. The villa has a very special charm. We learned from the friendly owner that the bakery is still original. I immediately liked the premises. The great thing is that the delicacies, namely cakes 🍰, are all gluten-free, sugar-free, and vegan. In my opinion, this combination is unique in Hamburg. So anyone suffering from celiac disease/gluten intolerance is well taken care of in this café. By the way, I also had to carry some things, which I found to be quite nice and pleasant. The guest is involved, why not, I like that. The espresso was a bit too strong for me personally, but I'm not a benchmark since I rarely drink coffee ☕️. My husband enjoyed the cappuccino very much. The cake 🍰 wasn’t for him, but in this case, that doesn’t matter since he eats "normally" and I am more used to vegan and sugar-free, but I thought it was very tasty 😋. In the end, we discovered that they also serve breakfast 🥞, which we could treat ourselves to soon. However, our journey is quite far, which is a shame or maybe thank goodness 😅 because that saves me from gaining any extra weight. I was on site for the first time today with a friend. The atmosphere is something very special, the living room character convinces me the most personally. It's not a modern influencer café. It's a café with so much love, a feeling of being at home and coziness. We had a delicious potato bell pepper soup and then a piece of chocolate toffee cake. This cake was incredibly delicious. And perfect for us gluten-free mice. Thank you for the great afternoon. Thank you for this beautiful, cozy feeling that your café radiates ♥️

Great little place to relax and enjoy. The food is fresh. There are vegan AND gluten-free options. It’s important to note to bring enough cash, as no card payments are accepted here. The place (outside) is covered, suitable even if it's raining a bit or on hot days. It has an old but charming style.

Small sweet cellar cafe with outdoor seating area. The cakes are gluten-free and dairy-free, which is why I came here. However, I find it very expensive. The pieces are small or narrow and depending on the type quite flat and cost 5.50 EUR each! Other providers charge 3.70 EUR for their homemade gluten-free cakes.

Two stars because there are gluten-free cakes. If I didn't have this dietary restriction, I would never come back here, as one is really treated unfriendly, the pieces are, in my opinion, very small, and card payment seems unwelcome. I am really disappointed that a café with such great potential evokes such unpleasant feelings due to the human component.

The cake was delicious, but I didn't find the kind I had to be extraordinary. The drink selection is good, and the coffee was also tasty. It's great that the cake is gluten-free and vegan. That's why I wanted to try the café. I like the outdoor area in front of the house. My impression was that the owner was not engaged in the service; she seemed rather grumpy. She didn't make us feel welcome.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the other reviews regarding the lack of friendliness of the owner. Since the café looks really beautiful, I wanted to give it a try. I was not greeted by the owner, but at least she took my order with a small smile. All cakes are vegan and gluten-free, and the iced coffee is available with milk alternatives. That is really great and surely a reason for many to visit the café. The outdoor area is very pretty and especially on nice days, it’s really a dream. The prices are upscale. Unfortunately, it’s really not a very nice atmosphere, and you feel less like a guest and more like someone who is unannounced and just tolerated. It’s really a shame, considering that everything else is so great.

Never again. The behavior of the owner is a no-go. The café is very nice. The special thing is that all cakes were gluten-free and at the same time vegan. It was delicious, but nothing extraordinary. I could write about several things that I found unpleasant. The worst part was that when we wanted to take some cakes to go (because it's indeed an exception to get vegan and simultaneously gluten-free cake), we were partially "denied". We wanted two chocolate cakes and two others. The owner said she would only give us one chocolate cake, and instead we could choose another if we wanted. The reason: she only had 3(!) pieces of chocolate cake left, and there were many more of the others. Therefore, she wanted to keep the chocolate cakes "for other customers in case they want it too". It was late afternoon, and the café was almost empty. When I very politely told her that it was a pity because my little daughter and my husband both wished for a piece of chocolate cake, the response was: "You got one." Pfff... I then told her that I didn't understand because we are customers too. She just repeated herself. The word "sorry" was, of course, never said. I find it absolutely disgraceful. The manner was the worst. She is simply rude and has absolutely no feeling for the job she does. And I formulated everything very nicely. I would have really understood if she had said, "I'm sorry, but I can't bake enough for takeout as well." Okay. But that's not the point here. She simply believes she can decide who gets how many and which cakes. Impossible! Additionally, the portions for €5 (vegan and gluten-free or not) are very small.

Gluten-free, vegan, with or without nuts. Everything is there. Tastes wonderful. A real cappuccino and not milk that tastes like coffee. Breakfast is also available!

Super nice service and a very nice ambiance. The coffee is very delicious and the cake is amazing. All 6 varieties available today were gluten-free! It’s always worth it.

Incredibly delicious cakes, there are gluten-free, sugar-free, and vegan cakes. Here the prices are small and very, very fair. Tea and coffee are also very tasty. Lovely and friendly service, I will definitely come here more often and also try the breakfast. I can warmly recommend a visit to everyone, a great new gem in Eimsbüttel.
