We made it clear many times that we needed a vegetarian breakfast that was dairy free and gluten free, which we were assured it would be. However, we were both glutened and felt ill after and it seemed obvious a few of the breakfast items had soy sauce even though we were told it was gluten free when checking at the time also. We booked the Japanese room and it was dusty in places, very outdated, worn, and had a horrible musty and sewage like smell coming from the bathroom. The rest of the place seemed to have updated corridors and rooms. I don't know why the Japanese rooms are so awful since this was very expensive. Location was great and staff were otherwise great too.
