Miyajima Island, gluten-free. These words combined should be enough to convey how fantastic this little restaurant is! Anyone who has been to Japan 🇯🇵 knows that it is still not easy to find gluten-free alternatives. This place is a true oasis in the desert: fantastic food (spicy if you want), generous portions, a welcoming atmosphere, small and rustic rooms, and friendly staff! Highly recommended!

This is hands-down the best chicken I have ever had in my life! Being sensitive to gluten, I was surprised to find this gem on Miyajima Island and even though there was a short wait, it was completely worth it! My family loved all of our meals and the staff was probably the friendliest we encountered on our trip to Japan. We even got complimentary little donuts with our meal! In addition, we were assisted with getting a taxi back to the ferry when it was too hot to walk back. This place is a MUST visit while on the island!
