It was meant to be a quick refreshing break. We chose the two-course menu of Gricia and Amatriciana. Good, although a bit too greasy (and one was a bit lacking). The owner does everything himself, and you have to queue even to pay. One and a half hours to eat two plates of pasta seems definitely too much to me.

Very good gluten-free pasta (maybe a bit too al dente) with satisfying portions at a fair price. I ordered the first course and the choice is only between Gricia and Amatriciana. While waiting, they brought us a cold cut appetizer and fried gnocchi with gluten, while there was only cold cuts for the gluten-free option (too bad about the absence of bread!). The staff is very friendly and attentive to gluten-free needs.

Finally, I was able to eat amatriciana and gricia in peace. Top quality and maximum safety (staff trained for gluten-free). I recommend the arrosticini, and the friendliness of the staff is top-notch. I booked a few days in advance and highlighted the issue of celiac disease; the response was, "no problem." They even provided packaged bread, which I appreciated for the kindness.

A family-run place located in the food area of Amatrice. Friendly and helpful staff. As starters, the owner recommended 2 tastings: gricia and amatriciana. Of course, my husband had gluten-free pasta, and not all restaurants offer this type of menu.... Generous portions, well-seasoned with quality ingredients. For main courses, we had arrosticini and grilled sausage with a side of puntarelle with anchovies. Everything was delicious and at a more than honest price. Special mention to the owner, a truly special person. Recommended.
