The hot dog with crunchy bread that was suggested to us was excellent, and there are many other options suitable for someone with celiac disease. Noemi was very kind and helpful in recommending other gluten-free places in Vieste. I tried the paposcia on a second occasion and I must say it was good, but it’s nothing special and the price is around 13 euros.

Finally a good mixed fry (squid and shrimp). The owner is very kind and helpful. In a characteristic little street in the center. I would go back immediately. I truly recommend it. There is little space outside but we were very comfortable.

We discovered this place during our vacation, and it's become our go-to in Vieste. My daughter is celiac, and finding a place where we can eat gluten-free with such peace of mind and quality is a challenge, but here everything was simply perfect. Every dish was delicious, prepared with such attention and care, so much so that we returned several times. A special thanks goes to the owners: kind, helpful, and truly fantastic. They pampered my little girl Sole throughout our vacation, always making us feel welcome and at home. We'll take home not only the memory of excellent cuisine, but also of special people who made our vacation even more wonderful. As I had yet another confirmation talking to the two girls, hearing their tone and their confidence that doesn't spill into arrogance—those of two girls who know what it means to live with and sometimes suffer from celiac disease—they have learned to turn it into delicious dishes! We ate at the venue after a walk in the historic center, also because my partner is celiac. Assuming that I do not expect to be served and pampered like in a luxury restaurant, I was disappointed in every aspect. It took 10 minutes just to take our orders from the moment we sat at the table, and then another 20 for the dishes to arrive. In the meantime, the beer and the glass of prosecco we ordered had become undrinkable due to the heat. The paposcia and the fried food (fair), touted with squid, cuttlefish, and shrimp, arrived, but the shrimp were missing. When I asked for clarification on this, the waitress replied that they hadn't arrived, so it was just bad luck. To top it off, when it was time to pay the bill, and only after I paid, I expressed my complaints to the guy at the cash register, who claimed to be unaware of the service issues and the 'missing shrimp,' without even hinting at the slightest gesture of apology or offering something to better digest the whole situation. Nothing at all. P.S. And to think that just moments before, the owner was bragging to two tourists about how the venue was 'up to date,' having everything gluten-free. It may be true, but it's not enough if the service is what it is... Highly discouraged.

Wandering through the streets of Vieste, we stumbled upon this small AiC certified venue and it was a wonderful discovery for a celiac like me (but not only). We had a fried dish of only calamari (because the shrimp were finished) and a paposcia, both gluten-free. We were very satisfied! Both were excellent! The prices are slightly high for street food, but it makes sense considering the markup generally paid for gluten-free. If we pass through Vieste again, we will definitely return. Recommended!

I appreciate the management of the young staff, the service, the attention to gluten-free options, but my experience was not positive: the fried food was very greasy with a breading that fell apart as happens when the oil isn't hot enough. The gluten-free bread from Paposcia was the same as the packaged ciabattina from Luca Tomasello, and the ingredients were also not very flavorful. It was very hot inside the dining room.

I had dinner with my husband and my daughter who has celiac disease. The welcome was fantastic; a mother and her celiac daughters run this lovely place where you can dine outside on barrels turned into tables with stools, or inside in an air-conditioned room. Everything was really good, from the gluten-free paposcia with prosciutto and mozzarella chosen by my daughter (but you can choose any ingredients you like), to the very good rice flour fried food that can be eaten by both celiacs and non-celiacs, to the seafood salad, and an amazing piadina with prosciutto, mozzarella, salad, and sun-dried tomatoes that is simply delicious. Not to mention the hot, non-greasy French fries. It’s one of the few places in Vieste certified AFC by AIC. I recommend it for the kindness, professionalism, hospitality, and good food.

I stumbled upon this place while walking around Vieste. I have a celiac daughter and looking up, I read about gluten-free fried fish. I ordered it immediately, my daughter devoured it, and as a non-celiac, I tasted it—delicious, to say the least. Small place with an indoor room in the middle of the historic center, a fast food restaurant with gluten-free foods certified by the AIC. The girls who work there are both celiac, so there's no need to worry. Additionally, the fries are freshly cut on the spot, and I must say they are excellent. The prices are fair, I recommend it.

Honestly, I will never return there again. Everything is poor; I read a review that tells the whole truth about everything... miserable and nothing good. The review I'm referring to ends by saying they paid €48, and even in my ham sandwich, there was a piece of the ham string that I had to remove before eating. The girls claim to be celiac, but honestly, I even have doubts about this. In the price list, you'll see two prices: the gluten-free and double that of the gluten one. Terrible experience.

We ordered two gluten-free paposce (great taste, but with little seasoning and limited ingredient choices) and two portions of gluten-free fries, which unfortunately were inedible because they were too greasy, really too much, floating in oil; a real shame because they were fresh potatoes...

I trusted the positive reviews and went there. Big mistake. I've eaten in many places, a bit everywhere, but I can say for sure that this is the absolute worst. Greasy fries, mixed fried food with oil spilling onto the plate (17 euros for four calamari and two (counted) shrimp. Three paposce, one of which had 1 slice (counted) of cooked ham and 4 (counted) bits of mozzarella. I didn’t eat it and when the girl saw it there, she asked me why. When I answered, she even asked me what do I want for 4.50 euros! I would pay double, but give me something decent. Ah, with 1 coke and 1 water, 48 euros. Absolutely not recommended.

Two stars because I want to reward the effort in trying gluten free and I want to hope it was just a bad evening, but both the fried fish and the potatoes were inedible: the batter on the fish was more cardboard than on the fish, which was soaked in oil (the picture attests to this); the same fate for the potatoes, raw, mushy, and greasy. The tables aren't comfortable, but that's not the problem; we're in a charming little street, and one can adapt. I repeat, I hope it was just an off evening: gluten-free frying with corn batter is generally better than semolina coating because it’s drier and crispier. I can't give more, and honestly, I'm very sorry.

I am really surprised by some negative comments; I discovered this place by chance today and tried the gluten-free fries and chicken nuggets, which I found absolutely fantastic. The fries, in particular, remind me of the ones my mother made when I was little; they are not the classic frozen pre-fried ones, they are softer and it proves they are genuine. The kindness and availability of the owners complete the picture: if I return to Vieste, it will be the first place I will go back to eat.
