we absolutely love it here and the gluten free food is always safe and tasty. we had a wonderful man named George who made us laugh and feel comfortable throughout our visit. the staff are all friendly and helpful.

Been a few times now. Dough balls are very good in both gluten and non-gluten varieties. Gluten free pizza passed the test. Wish my thin pizza was a bit more crispy. Old church is a neat environment.

Sentimenti contrastanti. Ho visitato ieri sera, scegliendo questo locale basandomi sulle ottime esperienze passate con le pizze senza glutine in altre sedi di PE. Il cibo qui era altrettanto gustoso, nessuna lamentela! Purtroppo, qualcosa è andato storto e mi sono sentito male a causa di una contaminazione da glutine. Inizialmente non avevo prestato attenzione all'area di preparazione, ma successivamente ho notato utensili condivisi e quello che sembrava lo stesso forno in uso. Se sei celiaco, non consiglierei questo ramo a causa dei rischi di contaminazione incrociata. Mi piacerebbe tornare perché il cibo era genuinamente buono, ma solo se ci fosse maggiore consapevolezza e cura su cosa significhi veramente "senza glutine", soprattutto per coloro di noi che fanno affidamento su più di un semplice etichetta nel menu.

Set inside an old church in Morningside, this Pizza Express has a truly unique look and feel. It's spacious and light and there's a real feeling of grandeur when you enter. The central focus point is a beautiful old church organ, under which the kitchen lies. My wife and I popped along for the first time in years to try their new gluten-free pizza (American hot for me) and dough balls, and we were not disappointed. The staff were efficient and friendly and took the gluten-free request seriously, which was reassuring. The only issue we had was that despite the restaurant being pretty empty (it was 5pm on a Wednesday), a father arrived with a crying toddler and was plonked right next to us, completely ruining the ambience. Not sure why they felt the need to do that when there were so many tables available. Will probably go a bit later in future to avoid that scenario, or just ask the staff in advance for a quiet spot I suppose! Anyway, it was a good overall experience and we look forward to going again.

I like pizza express in Morningside mainly because the sell gluten free pizza as well as normal pizza but I don't think the customer service is very good. This is ultimately a fast food restaurant that isn't fast. If they want to justify the prices, I would suggest much better customer service. We sat and waited for around 15 minutes after we had finished eating before the bill was brought, and when it was, it was laid on our table. We then waited a further 15 minutes and no one offered to take payment so I had to walk toward the till and stand and wait while my family waited outside for me. The gluten free pizzas are nice enough but when your 12 year old son has a pizza twice the size of yours it's tells a tale about the size of the GF variety. Supposedly made in their factory, then why so small? Overall 7/10 for service 7/10 for food. Would be higher for food if I was eating the non GF variety.

Best pizza EVER! Great desserts, great atmosphere and great service. A huge plus for one member of our group was the abundance of gluten free choices.

Menu senza glutine che è buono ma il cibo si raffredda sempre rapidamente. Prenotato online ma sembra che il loro sistema non sia all'altezza, all'arrivo sono stato informato in modo poco professionale che non avevo una prenotazione.

Bellissimo edificio storico convertito in ristorante. Personale attento e cordiale, eccellente selezione di pizza. Fanno anche una base per pizza senza glutine che era molto buona. Se hai intenzione di visitare a metà settimana, cerca online un voucher/sconto.

Devono cambiare il loro nome perché suona come un fast food, ma in realtà è davvero carino. Eccellente varietà di pizze gustose e senza glutine disponibili praticamente su tutto.
