A lovely relaxed restaurant with delicious food. I was a walk in and they managed to accommodate me within 30 mins. I'm a coeliac and it was a joy to have a full menu to choose from without worrying about cross contamination.

Il personale era adorabile, ma il cameriere maschio ha detto che c'era solo un piatto speciale, poi la cameriera femmina ci ha parlato di due opzioni. La cucina chiude alle 15:30 per una pausa per gli chef, ma non era chiaro se potessimo rimanere per altri drink, ecc., poiché il cameriere maschio ha fatto sembrare che dovessimo finire, mentre la cameriera poi ci ha chiesto se volevamo altri drink o dessert, a quel punto eravamo già pronti per andare. Cibo incredibile, se non devi mangiare cibo senza glutine non ti accorgeresti che è senza glutine, e il personale è adorabile. La qualità di ogni piatto è incredibile, finirai per voler ordinare l'intero menù.

Assolutamente incredibile! Sono stato attratto dal fatto che fosse completamente senza glutine e che ci fossero molte opzioni vegane e di carne. Sia il cibo che il personale rendono questo posto unico nel miglior modo possibile. Tutti con cui abbiamo interagito erano così adorabili, genuini e disponibili. Il cibo era semplicemente incredibile e, per l'amor del cielo, prendete un volo di margarita: così buono! Mi è piaciuta anche l'illuminazione di questo posto e il fatto che l'abbiano abbassata man mano che la sera avanzava per mantenere l'atmosfera giusta: tanti piccoli dettagli che si fanno notare per rendere la cena qui un'esperienza d'élite.

Ho adorato assolutamente Bodega, cibo, bevande e servizio tutto fantastico. Abbiamo seguito il loro suggerimento di 1 piatto da ciascuna sezione del menu (più 1 per buona sorte 😀) e 1 dessert da condividere e ogni singolo piatto era delizioso. Il margarita di mirtilli congelati e cannella era molto gustoso e abbiamo concluso il pasto con un tequila dalla loro eccellente selezione. Prezzo molto ragionevole, personale eccellente, amichevole e disponibile, davvero non posso raccomandare questo posto abbastanza. L'intero menu è senza glutine, il che è così rinfrescante da vedere per qualcuno con intolleranza al glutine.

I booked this place for my birthday, I wanted a low-key meal with friends with great food. I picked Bodega because the menu is fully gluten free and there were a range of options on the menu to suit the meat-eaters and vegetarians in the group. I was not disappointed, all the food we ordered was delicious and I think everyone was very happy. I don't know enough about tacos to comment on the authenticity but it all tasted so good! I think some people who like massive portions may not have been filled, but it suited us. Service was very attentive but unobtrusive. Our water was continuously topped up without any prompting and the staff were friendly and informative about the menu and gave good recommendations. I'd highly recommend this place, whether you love tacos or are indifferent, the food is excellent.

We really enjoyed the food here and loved being able to eat anything off the menu as 3 out of 4 of us are gluten free. Some of the dishes were delicious, especially the chicken wings and fishes tacos. We would have given 5 stars but a couple of things let it down. We ordered a jug of margarita and were shocked that we got a full jug of ice with a small amount of liquid which made for a tiny glass each. The waitress told us that it equates to 80ml of liquid (not alcohol) each for £35. We all agreed that this was one of the biggest rip-offs we have experienced in a restaurant! Secondly, we arrived on time for our 7:30pm table and were told that it wasn’t ready so were asked to go for a drink up the street and come back. We didn’t mind too much and were told that no one would have the table after us so could stay as long as we liked. However when we came back we ordered a round of dishes and when we asked to order more at around 9:30pm we were told the kitchen was closed. The bill was expensive (£194 for 4 people) and felt like these issues detracted from the overall experience. I would like to come back here, but I’m not 100% convinced.

Beautiful restaurant, the food was absolutely delicious, the staff were all lovely, helpful and attentive. I am coeliac so it was a very relaxing and pleasant experience knowing I was in safe hands

Oh....mio.....dio. I migliori tacos a Edimburgo 👏 Ogni taco e piatto è stata una bellissima piccola avventura. Grandissimi complimenti alla cucina e al personale. I camerieri erano assolutamente adorabili. Il ristorante ha un'atmosfera molto rilassata e le bevande - oh wow, le bevande sono fantastiche, alcune delle migliori Margarita che abbiamo mai avuto. Non posso valutare questo più in alto. Ricorda che questo è proprio accanto alla linea del tram, quindi è facile da raggiungere. La parte migliore è che È TUTTO SENZA GLUTINE.

Another fabulous meal at Bodega. The wings are potentially the best we’ve ever had and the flavours in all the sauces and seasonings are on point and delicious. The fish dishes need improvement would be my only feedback. But the meal overall, service, drinks and atmosphere are excellent. (I am coeliac and can confirm it is a safe gf eating venue) Thank you, team at Bodega!
