Tutto il locale è senza glutine e ha dal dolce al salato, inclusa frutta realistica. Tutto anche fresco di giornata quindi si può conservare per qualche giorno. Finalmente una pasticceria così senza glutine, tutto strabiliante

Before going in my husband said “if they are collaborating with Tim tams it can’t be good” and he was not wrong (and he loves Tim tams). TBH I would give 0 stars for the food if I could. I picked the pistachio Leo which was recommended by the member of staff, and the vanilla flan. I guess alarm bells should have rung when there were no prices next to any of the pastries. These 2 items set me back £21.80!!!!!! Now that is insane, even for London, considering the service and terrible taste/textures. First - the service - I was a quick to pick what I wanted but had to wait a long time to even pay (despite only one person in front of me..). Now I actually wouldn’t have been bothered by this but if you are charging that much, I expect better service. Second - the pastries: I chose the Leo on the basis that it was “like a pain au chocolat” (according to the staff) This could not be further from the truth. I opted for the pistachio but the almond flour from the pastry was so overwhelming I couldn’t taste any pistachio at all - I hope I didn’t pay extra for that, but I wouldn’t know due to the lack of pricing. The pastry was dense and stodgy. The strong almond oil made everything taste a bit stale/rancid. 0/10 I never complain about things to the staff, but this was a so bad l (and I was probably still in shock) I had to ask if the items were fresh and if it was meant to be like this. Sadly I threw most of it away. The flan was clearly too dense - the pastry was falling off as the server tried to lift it onto the tray. The filling was gelatinous and bouncy. Taste was fine and the pastry was edible, not bad for gluten free, but the texture wasn’t right. 2/10 It’s a shame to write a negative review but I hope this (and all the other reviews) help them improve, because right now, I and others feel scammed.

This was my third visit to Copain, and I have to say there’s a great variety of products to choose from (both savoury and sweet) and the fact that everything is gluten free truly makes it feel like a gluten-free heaven! On top of that, the customer service continues to impress me every single time! Nada and Robert are both incredibly welcoming, attentive and they always take their time to explain more about the products and give advices 😊 If you’re visiting, I highly recommend trying the Cinnamon Roll, Leo New York Roll, the Babka Maina + the salmon bagel - all absolutely to die for!!!

I recently visited Copains, a gluten-free patisserie in London, and it completely exceeded my expectations. I tried the éclair, almond croissant, vegan pistachio croissant, and a chocolate custard pastry, and every single one was divine. What really stood out was the texture of the pastries. Gluten-free baking can sometimes fall short, but not here, the pastry was incredibly soft, light, and moist, with none of the dryness you often expect. The vegan pistachio croissant was a particular highlight, and the chocolate custard pastry was indulgent without being overly heavy. Honestly, these are the best gluten-free pastries I’ve ever had—and I say that having tried pastries all over the world. A special mention to Aoife, who provided excellent service, she was incredibly patient with our indecisiveness over the amazing variety and knowledgeable about all the items. She made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re gluten-free, Copains is an absolute must-visit.
