For my birthday, I received a voucher for a gluten-free cooking class with Valentina. I had the pleasure and honor of meeting this wonderful person, whom I already knew through her social media. In addition to her kindness and helpfulness, she confirmed her professionalism and profound knowledge on the subject. Besides being a very enjoyable afternoon, I learned that in just a few hours, you can prepare so many simple recipes using readily available and, above all, healthy ingredients, which will allow me to avoid always having to resort to packaged and processed foods. I left her workshop with a bag full of the delicacies we cooked together, and a heart full of gratitude for this unforgettable experience.

Maximum safety, Valentina is now well-known. The only drawback is that it’s difficult to find variety but especially to find it open 😢 sometimes with certain events in Sarzana I hoped to find her but often it was closed. The savory dishes are all very good!!

Dear Valentina, after months glued to the phone screen with my mouth watering while looking at pictures of your delicacies, I decided to treat myself and take a train from Pontedera to come taste something from your bakery in Sarzana. And so here I am early in the morning inside your special place; of course, there was the counter full of wonders and your sparkling and delightful presence. I admit I didn't say much because I was excited, but I bought many things to taste: a slice of savory pie, some focaccine, a piece of vanilla and berry cake, and a lemon and blueberry muffin. Everything was exceptional! The focaccine nearly moved me; the flavor was almost identical to those I used to buy in an old bakery in my hometown when I was a child. I used to eat them with a dear friend outside of school, and it felt just like going back there. Never had such good ones in eleven years of celiac disease! Not to mention the desserts: flavorful, soft, abundant. No disappointments. The prices were absolutely fair and consistent with the quality of the food; I really hope to come back soon.

A really enchanting and well-kept place, but it's a shame about the owner who focuses her attention more on internet videos since in person she is very rude and impolite. The savory products are good, but the desserts definitely need to be reviewed; the pastry is thick and raw, and other desserts are very dry. What a pity. I'm sorry she isn't able to accept criticism to improve.

Very negative experience... a few days ago I called Valentina to see what gluten-free savory or sweet options she had available (she only had focaccia). I agreed with her that I would stop by the shop to pick them up, but I found the shop closed. At that point, I called again, and her response was: "I'm sorry, ma'am, but I've run out of focaccia and I'm currently out, I'll be back in about an hour." I should mention that since I live in La Spezia, I preferred to call beforehand to ensure Valentina would be there. I wouldn't recommend this shop!

My husband and I went to Valentina looking for something to eat, unfortunately we hadn't made a reservation so by 11 o'clock she had already run out of everything. However, we found in her a super helpful person, we talked for half an hour about celiac disease, she gave us very useful information and reassured us. Additionally, she gave us advice on how to find food in Sarzana and Tuscany. With a unique kindness, she also offered us two delicious muffins that she made herself! Thank you so much!! 🌻

A small shop, a workshop from another time, a MAGICAL place. Valentina, an amazing Pastry Chef! A single woman, young and always smiling, who manages to cook indescribable DELICACIES (the photos wouldn’t be enough, you simply have to try them, ALL), welcomes you with a kindness that, believe me, is hard to find and with sparkling eyes tells you everything you can taste. From sweet to savory, from cakes to pastries... you’ll find everything! To avoid leaving empty-handed, just call her and she’ll set aside what you wish to taste! A great professionalism. Oh, I almost forgot, EVERYTHING GLUTEN-FREE!

I recently went on vacation to Liguria. I had 'met' it on social media and was curious to try it. I called the day before to book pizzas and focaccia (recommended to call!). She was very nice and kind, and the gluten-free pizza and focaccia were very good! (Even though, having been diagnosed with celiac disease recently, I still find the focaccia a bit different from the regular one). Highly recommended!

This girl is a true force of nature. In her place, you can not only delight your palate with sweet and savory proposals that change day by day, but also breathe in a home-like atmosphere. On the small but cozy counter, you will find gluten-free treats that everyone loves, the ones that will make you not settle for less (how often does that happen to us celiacs, right?), but ones that will make you ask, 'is it really gluten-free?'. A true experience... I tasted a chocolate cupcake and a slice of hazelnut cheesecake with pistachio crumble... Valentina's desserts are both rich in flavor and delicate at the same time.
