I had a "pizza" with vegetables for €12. I asked if the dough was made by them, and I was told that there is a laboratory that produces it on their request. Result: a terrible pizza. The base is just like the frozen one from Coop. The owners are Neapolitan; I had high hopes. You can't offer such a sad product in 2026.

Very, very good pizza! I ordered a Milanese cutlet, a platter of cured meats, and instead of fried dumplings, they offered focaccia or gluten-free bread. The staff is kind and attentive!

I had already eaten at Piedigrotta two or three times for work during lunch. Being celiac, it's one of the restaurants in Reggio where I can eat with peace of mind, as many dishes on the menu are also available in gluten-free versions. I must say that despite always having a good experience, this last time they were exceptional: aside from the speed with which the kitchen prepared the two ordered dishes, I was surprised by the high quality of the food. Risotto with balsamic vinegar was al dente and excellently creamed, and the Milanese cutlet (gluten-free is usually a mirage!!) was cooked perfectly with a crispy and non-greasy breading. Really, really impressive. If you pass through Reggio (especially if you are celiac), consider stopping by: they have several gluten-free first and second courses. They also bring gluten-free breadsticks to the table (another nice touch), and with the second course, they even brought me a warm gluten-free bun.

Terrible gluten-free pizza. Very careless about cross-contamination.

Beautiful place and very good food. I had the gluten-free pizza 🍕 and it's delicious 😋, as is the regular one. I also saw some first courses passing by, and they looked beautiful. The entire menu is also gluten-free. Just be careful when ordering the dishes because they are very generous; I recommend sharing a plate. To go to the bathroom, there's a very nice staircase that leads to a small pond with a mini waterfall. Very beautiful place, I highly recommend it.

Very crowded restaurant, but apart from the wait, even having made a reservation, the food was excellent, especially for the gluten-free menu (fantastic risotto and tiramisu).

Really good gluten-free pizza. I often go there with friends to get takeout, and even when it gets cold, it stays soft and tasty.

Restaurant and pizzeria but not only! The establishment is definitely large, with almost 500 seats, well divided into various rooms, both on the ground floor and the first floor, ensuring a reserved environment. Land and sea menu, and pizza. An important note: the same menus are also offered in a gluten-free version. Very attentive to customer needs and details about allergens. Seafood appetizer, good. Atomic Babbà Wood-fired oven and fish specialties, well done!

Revamped gluten-free pizza with a good dough. Quality ingredients. The cuisine is also excellent. Try the fried fish. Attentive staff.

We went on Saturday evening, and surely the crowd must have played a part; both I and another guy are celiac and we ordered pizza. Unfortunately, it was not good at all, very thin, tasteless, without toppings. It's a bit of a mockery for celiacs to be served a dish like this compared to the other pizzas. As for mine, it was supposed to have nonexistent Parmesan flakes, and the mozzarella was practically only in the center. It was all arugula. I'm very sorry. I hope to change my opinion in the future!!

gluten-free pizza baked in a tray. It's time to innovate. With all those customers, it would be enough to create a second dedicated oven.

Excellent restaurant, prepared staff, and maximum safety. The fish pasta with paccheri and spectacular sauce was fantastic. The focaccia is great for mopping up. We will return to try the pizza.

great restaurant, pizza not bad

A suggestive outdoor location. The best restaurant for gluten-free dining. The selection is truly vast, you can choose from pizza, pasta, and even gluten-free fried dishes. Prepared staff and very fast service. To top it all off, excellent quality-price ratio! What can I say, one of the best restaurants in Reggio.

A wonderful place and the gluten-free pizza is delicious!! One of the best I've ever had. The shrimp with pistachio cream, the fish, and the desserts are also excellent! Kindness and special hospitality, especially a waiter whose name we unfortunately don’t know, entertained and cheered us up with jokes and games! We loved him! They deserve more than 10!!!

A regular stop when I pass through Reggio Emilia; unlimited pizzas! Various doughs including gluten-free! Don't want pizza? First courses, second courses, side dishes with both meat and fish! And the dessert... it's always welcome! The environment is decorated with great care and is clean! Until next time!
