I tried margherita with buffalo mozzarella and fried filling with endives. The dough is really good, both fried and baked... you can hardly tell it's gluten-free! The buffalo mozzarella used needs to be reconsidered.

I went to Peperino e Milano and tried their gluten-free Margherita pizza. The portion was very generous and the pizza was tasty and well prepared. The restaurant is AIC certified (Italian Celiac Association), which gives great confidence and reassurance for people with celiac disease. I also appreciated the presence of several gluten-free desserts on the menu, which is not always easy to find. A great option for anyone looking for a gluten-free friendly pizzeria.

Very delicious pizza, they have a dedicated oven for gluten-free. The rest of the menu is also available gluten-free, and I particularly appreciate that it's possible to get the fried items, which are also very good.

Delicious pizza, with fries because I still feel super young. Forgettable service, rude staff; they are nicer at the cash register, but they messed up the final bill. I would only return with my friends for the gluten-free options.

We have dear friends who are celiac but we are all passionate about good pizza and generous Neapolitan cuisine. Il Peperino is the perfect cherry on top for a walk in Milan from Brera to Corso Como. Very close to Porta Garibaldi, it allows us to enjoy Milan and also great food. All the waiters are kind and the owner truly has an extra touch. Fast and determined, she quickly finds the best solution for all customers. Very good. For 20 years, excellent gluten-free pizza for celiacs guaranteed by AIC.

I came here with an Italian work colleague because it goes gluten free pizza. The food was really tasty, and even through my colleague prefers Roman rather than Neapolitan pizza, she really enjoyed hers. Mine was one of the best GF pizza I have tried, even cold the next evening as a snack. It was nice trying the croquette, aranchini and mozzarella platter to start (GF breadcrumbs). Service was a bit slow, the decor was tired, and the house red wasn't the best, but I would be happy to return.

Peperino is an excellent pizzeria that doesn't disappoint, especially for those looking for a gluten-free pizza made the right way. The dough is soft and well-leavened, the ingredients are quality, and the toppings are always spot on. Even those who are not celiac find really tasty pizzas. The place is welcoming and the staff is kind, highly recommended!

Ate here on our first night and the gluten free pizza did not disappoint. I have coeliac disease, and found this place was accredited by the AIC and offered both normal and gluten free options. The pizza base actually looked pizza like unlike some of the bases you can get at other places. Massive variety of bases too, would definitely return if I was in Milan again.

We ordered 2 pizzas, one with regular dough and one gluten-free. The regular pizza looked great and was very good. For the gluten-free pizza, I must say it's misleading advertising because they promote it as a pizza with a high crust, but that's not the case. Aside from that small detail, the pizza was very, very good. Service was so-so. There was little organization for the orders; the pizzas actually arrived before the drinks. The waiters seem overwhelmed with work, always looking grumpy. A smile wouldn't hurt you.

I can only give huge compliments to the owners and the entire staff: I am celiac and it had been over 12 years since I last had such a good gluten-free and lactose-free pizza... truly SO good. Not only do they offer a really varied gluten-free menu, but it is also customizable according to intolerances. The attention, care, and passion they put into seeking the highest quality is evident and can be tasted entirely. My heartfelt compliments, and I hope to return soon to eat another of your pizzas!

My experience at the Peperino restaurant in Milan was at times fluctuating: we had booked for 8:30 PM, but we were only seated at 8:45 PM, while others without reservation were welcomed before us. Once taken to the completely empty lower floor, the staff immediately seemed too insistent in commenting on our choices, creating a somewhat oppressive atmosphere. We requested water, and despite waiting more than 20 minutes, the request was not fulfilled, with a final update arriving only after 41 minutes. During the pizza ordering, the staff asked us repeatedly, three times, if we were ready to order, a clear sign of poor internal coordination. The situation further complicated when I saw a confused waiter asking us if we had ordered a pizza not belonging to our table. Despite all these mishaps, the pizza arrived at 9:15 PM and was a real highlight: one of the best gluten-free pizzas I have ever tasted. The dinner, consisting of two pizzas and two waters, cost €40, a price that is within the area's standard.

We arrived just before closing time, so the turnout was very low, the service was very fast and the arrival of the pizzas was quick. I had been here another time during peak hours and everything was impeccable. Excellent gluten-free pizza, by far the best I've found here in Lombardy. The only point of criticism was that the fried pizza was a bit too salty and the stems of the friarielli could have been softer; it was difficult to bite into the pizza.

Incredible for gluten free and coeliacs and would recommend, dedicated gluten free menu. Was a bit of a trek from our accomodation, but so worthwhile and would do again. We ordered a gluten free pizza and calzone and both were amazing - couldn’t tell it was gluten free! Great portions, we couldn’t finish and took the leftovers for the next day. We arrived at opening and were seated and served promptly. One of the waiters randomly gave us a paper bag with bread in it while we were waiting for our order (which we think he had been snacking on at the start of the shift), no other customers appeared to be given a random bag of bread, and then a different server took it away when they cleared our plates, even though we took the pizza etc as leftovers - was a bit bizarre! Huge space and must be heaving in summer, but on a Tuesday night in January it was nice and mellow.

Gluten Free is 5 stars! My mom has celiac and they have an entirely separate gluten free menu and she loved the pizza and focaccia. rude and impolite staff, we arrived when the restaurant was empty and it took them over half an hour to take our order. the food was ok, definitely not something I will remember. before the dishes arrived, a waitress brought a complimentary fried pizza, asking if anyone was gluten-free, but instead, she addressed me (celiac) and said she was sorry. I think it would have made a better impression to bring a simple gluten-free focaccia to a table with a celiac. I advise the owners to refrain from gluten-free baking as I was given gum rather than a roll.

Restaurant/Pizzeria offering a wide choice of Neapolitan-flavored foods; those who have never been to Naples can close their eyes and imagine being transported there just by taste. The gluten-free pizza is excellent, as is the bread they bring to the table (with gluten), made from pizza dough. A place for those who love strong and decisive flavors. Friendly, smiling, helpful, and patient staff. The friends I brought were very satisfied!

A very characteristic Neapolitan locale. They are highly specialized in gluten-free cuisine, in fact, they have a wide choice of flavors. In four people, we ordered three pizzas (two marinara at €4.50), one margherita at €5, and a calzone with salami, mozzarella, and burrata. We spent around €50. I will definitely return.

We went for the first time a little while ago with my husband. The staff was very kind, attentive, and quick in service. They were also very mindful of my needs, considering my gluten and lactose intolerance, especially since I am pregnant. Finally, I found a pizzeria that offers gluten-free/lactose-free options where I can eat without feeling unwell! The menu is also very detailed with allergens listed, so customers with my same issues know what to order without fear of feeling sick, and the portions of fried food and pizzas are very generous. I highly recommend it!! I will definitely be back!!!

The gluten-free pizza was good, the dough very flavorful and similar to "normal" dough. The crust was lightly risen. I had a classic Neapolitan bufalina gluten-free, the ingredients were of high quality, the tomato sweet and tasty. My boyfriend had a normal pizza with pumpkin and raw ham, he said it was good although a bit dry and the dough gummy, probably because it missed the tomato sauce. As appetizers, we had a portion of gluten-free fried foods that included two arancini, two potato croquettes, and two fried mozzarella, and a portion of gluten-free fries. Everything was very good. I appreciate the fact that the place has a separate kitchen for gluten-free, allowing them not only to make pizzas without contamination but also to fry in a different oil: it's not easy to find a restaurant that offers such a wide range of gluten-free appetizers! The desserts were very good, we had a coconut and chocolate dessert and a pistachio one. The pistachio one was excellent, the chocolate one good but I wouldn't order it again. As for the cost, the prices are quite balanced, although 16 euros for the appetizers (one portion of fried foods and one of fries) seems excessive to me. We spent 52 euros for two (104 euros for 4 people). The waiters were always very nice, although due to the queue outside, they were a bit pushy and hasty about getting us to leave early to free up the table. The place does not accept reservations, we went on Saturday night and arrived quite early, around 8, and didn't find a queue, we sat down immediately. By 9/9:30 there was a queue outside, with an estimated wait of about 20 minutes.

Our favorite place to enjoy a true Neapolitan pizza offers a variety of dishes from Neapolitan cuisine as well as a wide range of pizzas. It is one of the few places where you can also find the classic fried pizza. On weekends, it's essential to book in advance due to the quality of the products, as it is always full. Very spacious locale, well-maintained, even the bathroom has its charm. The pizza is very good, including the gluten-free option, although there isn't a wide variety. The organization leaves something to be desired, which is why I chose to give only three stars. The wait times are not long, but the staff isn't very attentive; they brought us drinks after the appetizers and didn't ask if we wanted anything else after the pizza. Let's say we were left a bit to ourselves. Excellent value for money.

Good pizza but the service has become poor... I have often come to this place which also offers a menu for celiacs. I went on Tuesday evening, July 26th. We entered and a guy took us to a table, we waited quite a while before one of the waiters took our order (we had to stop him ourselves; otherwise, we would still be there waiting to dine). Order taken, and the pizzas arrived after a while... However, I must say they are still very good; in fact, the pizzas are worth it, it's the service that has deteriorated over time. I don't know if the management has changed, but now it seems more neglected. We were served by a guy dressed in a black shirt who had little of a waiter about him; he seemed almost improvisational, passing by to clear tables and not paying attention to customers and their needs. The table next to ours had to order, and minutes went by before the girls stopped this waiter; otherwise, he was thinking about something else. The room was full, and he stopped to look at his phone or sat at a table eating with friends. Then, as a cherry on top, it started pouring outside, and I had to chase after a lady who had left the pizzeria with my umbrella, reasoning: "the guy told me to take any as they are all abandoned"... 😡 With what right do you say something like that to customers? Maybe one was forgotten, but not all. Fortunately, I noticed it; otherwise, there would have been a discussion because you can't take on such a responsibility and say it so calmly. In the end, we didn't even order dessert because the desire to stay there was gone. I'm sorry to have to give such a terrible review, but the quality of the service has drastically decreased lately.

I returned to this place after a few years, on the occasion of a "pizza night" with a person who is gluten intolerant. Before booking, I had read the most recent negative reviews, mostly related to the service, and I was prepared for the worst. Instead, I found a positive point in the service: courteous, polite, and fast. The pizza is good, but if I have to find a flaw, the dough was not cooked perfectly. I tried the gluten-free pasta and found it absolutely pleasant. Although I am not celiac, maybe next time I'll go for the gluten-free pizza.

Everything strictly gluten-free 😍 Three breaded and fried mozzarella balls, 4 small fried calzones filled with ricotta and salami, a gluten-free beer (I chose Tennent's since it’s rare to find in places) but there are two more gluten-free beer options (Peroni and Daura with a red label) plus a fourth which is a craft beer. Finally, the pizza, thin, crispy, and delicious. Everything was good, from the appetizer to the pizza. I didn't make it to dessert because I was full 😂 Friendly, courteous, available, and knowledgeable staff regarding intolerances. Excellent value for money. Informal atmosphere suitable for a dinner with friends or family.

We booked to let my son, who is celiac, taste the fried pizza. The staff is very kind and helpful, both in attending to customers and providing information. The gluten-free pizzas are very good and generous. For those going with children and wanting to try the fried pizza, I recommend either getting the appetizers with tastings or just the pizza, to avoid wasting food and enjoy a great pizza in both cases. We will certainly return. P.S. Like all the places in the area, it's better to make a reservation and go early in the evening for a calm dinner.

I had been to this place years ago, but I believe that, having expanded, they are no longer able to manage the tables. The pizzas (not just ours) arrived with a 20-minute delay between each one, forcing us to eat separately. If I had known, I would have booked two separate tables. It also seemed to me that some quality has been lost in the gluten-free pizzas, which remain good but not the best.

I am gluten intolerant and in Milan I have never found a more inclusive and welcoming place than Ò Peperino. In addition to the customer care and the speed of service even on Saturday nights, the quality of the products and the goodness of the pizza (in particular, I recommend the porcini mushrooms and truffle pizza, it’s out of this world) and the Montanarine are unbeatable. We had dinner about a week ago. I have always loved this pizzeria for two reasons: excellence in gluten-free and top quality Neapolitan pizza. However, during my last visit, I was very disappointed. The gluten-free pizza was not at its best and the "regular" pizzas had something that didn't convince me. Attention should be paid to the fact that semolina flour should not be used to make Neapolitan pizza; it can be a variant but it is not the authentic one.

We tried to have dinner at this place, I say tried because due to some unknown issues, after 2 hours of waiting, there was no sign of the pizzas. As soon as we arrived, despite the many people, they seated us at our table reserved in advance at 9:30 PM. The place was crowded but naturally limited since many tables were empty (a detail to keep in mind at the end of this review). There were 6 adults, one of whom was celiac, and one child. Within 5/10 minutes we placed our order; it was 9:40 PM: we ordered 3 mixed fried Neapolitan dishes, a montanara, 4 regular pizzas, a gluten-free one, and a small one for the child. After not even 5 minutes, a waiter, agitated and confused, brought us some appetizers that we pointed out were not ours: he insisted they were ours but just as we were about to take them, another waiter corrected him and invited him to go to another table (it’s understandable; it’s clear he’s new). After half an hour, at 10:10 PM, 2 of the 3 mixed fried dishes arrived: I pointed out the missing items, highlighted that it would be wise to at least bring the pizza for the child, and mentioned we were still without drinks; the waiter apologized and said he would take care of it. After 5 minutes, the drinks arrived, but still no sign of the rest. Another half hour went by, during which I continued to request assistance due to the missing items, and finally, at 10:40 PM, the montanara and the missing mixed fried dish arrived. I noted that the child was still without food... after 10 minutes the mini pizza arrived... unfortunately, it was 11 PM, the child had nibbled here and there and was tired, so the pizza stayed on the plate. At 11:30 PM, tired and angry, we noticed that other tables were even being served desserts; frustrated, we got up and went to settle the bill for what we had received. The waiter tried to stop us saying that the pizzas were coming but we were already fed up and tired, two hours of wait is truly unacceptable, especially since, as I mentioned at the beginning, the restaurant is full but not at full capacity, so they are still managing fewer customers than they could. At the cash register, we were told that if we wanted the pizzas, they were ready and we could take them home without paying: a nice attempt at reconciliation but what sense does it make to take home pizzas at that hour even if they are free? Moreover, surprise on the bill, the child was charged for the cover and the pizza, even though it was smaller and left entirely untouched. I regret to give a negative review but it seems excessive to wait 2 hours for pizzas even when the restaurant is full (which it wasn't).

First of all, the kindness of the hostess and the courtesy of the staff. The pizzas are delicious, especially the gluten-free ones. Until today, I have been to many places in Milan and Pavia, but Peperino's is number 1. The place is welcoming and spacious. The Neapolitan traditional desserts are excellent, and the menu is very good with well-prepared dishes. Recommended to everyone.

A well-kept, bright, and tidy place. Possibility to eat gluten-free dough as well. I had as an appetizer stuffed panzerotti with ricotta and salami and fried pizza. Very good dough, excellent ingredients, perfect cooking. I then ordered a diavoletta... which did not satisfy me. I asked for a well-cooked pizza, and what I got was a moist dough... good ingredients and toppings. Excellent value for money. Courteous and efficient staff.

As celiacs, we know how difficult it is to find good food for dinner. Equally hard to find traditional fried foods. At Peperino, I was almost moved when I saw the gluten-free menu: it had everything one could desire in a Neapolitan pizzeria! We ordered the delicious malelingue, fried and really good, and then a FANTASTIC pizza with eggplant parmigiana, Neapolitan style, soft, fresh, and not frozen! Definitely, the best gluten-free pizza I've ever eaten!!!!

Restaurant, pizzeria in the Milanese average. The pizza is very good with the option to choose different proposals for various intolerances and gluten issues. The only downside is the service, which is a bit slow and not very attentive to the people at the table.

When I went to dinner, they made several mistakes with the orders (dishes I hadn’t ordered kept arriving), I had to change tables, and I believe they did not manage the situation very well. Aside from this understandable inconvenience, the food was good and everything arrived on time, the prices are slightly above average but considering their location, I can't blame them for it. Excellent menu for celiacs.
