During a recent vacation in Genoa, we had lunch there several times. The place, in my opinion, is a true stronghold, a reference point for celiacs and intolerant people in the heart of the historic center of Genoa, near the Old Port and the Aquarium. The owner and the other staff are very kind and the service is very fast. You can choose from various first courses, Genovese focaccia, piadine, sandwiches, and desserts, all strictly gluten-free. The first courses are very good, try the trenette with pesto, strozzapreti with tomato, and short pasta with ragÚ. Even better are the Genovese focaccias, which can be filled with multiple ingredients of your choice; I really enjoyed them with lardo patanegra, sun-dried tomatoes, and olive pâtÊ. Be careful: the large focaccia is truly enormous, enough for two people, and adding a first course is not advisable. The tiramisu is excellent, and I would say the prices are fair. Three flaws: the place is small and focused on takeout, you need luck to find one of the few seats; there is no bathroom for customers; especially on weekends, many people go there and, as a consequence, something often runs out prematurely. In my opinion, it is an excellent place, I wish there were more like it everywhere, allowing you to eat in the center at acceptable prices with a wide selection and excellent dishes. I recommend it to everyone and it is also suitable for families with children. I will definitely return when I come back to this beautiful city.

Amazing! Food identical to the traditional one. I had lunch here with my daughter who is celiac, and although I am not, I was astonished: I noticed no difference in taste compared to gluten-containing cuisine! The place shines for cleanliness, but the real added value is the service: the owner and staff are of rare kindness, always attentive and caring. Excellent and undeniable value for money. I think we ate here 5 times in 3 days. The pansoti con salsa di noce and gnocchi con pesto were super tasty. The sandwiches here are unreal. The grilled zucchini and peppers were my favorite. Have them on focaccia with prosciutto cotto and some mozzarella bufala and baby you got a stew going. Oh and you gotta try the tiramisu. It is class. Also the lady who was there every day is super nice.

What an amazing find down a small side street in the old town. Friendly and helpful service with a smile. Menus translated into various languages with free wireless internet available. Wide selection of gluten free pasta and sauces, as well as sandwiches and other options. We had the pesto - what else to have in Genoa đ. It was excellent. Tiramisu was also amazing. Very well-kept place with seating available inside, we ordered trofie with pesto and linguine with seafood that were nothing short of exceptional!! Everything is homemade and you can really taste the quality! Thereâs also a vast menu of sandwiches and focaccia with the option to fill them according to your preference, choosing from a ton of ingredients. I emphasize that there are vegan options as well, like the homemade pesto, as well as tomato and much more! And at the end of a good lunch, you can indulge in one of the many desserts that are offered. All this at a more than honest price for homemade food! A plate of homemade pasta ranges from 5 to 8/9 euros! The staff is very kind, both the lady at the counter and the guy in the kitchen who, at the end of lunch, even offered us a piece of hot focaccia just out of the oven! I highly recommend it for anyone looking for quality gluten-free food!

We visited Genova for a day yesterday and struggles to find food spots that were gluten free, We came across this tiny shop and thought we would try it. Donât be fooled by the tiny shop because it was incredible. I didnât catch the ladyâs name unfortunately but she was so helpful! She spoke to us in English and translated the entire menu and even made a new sauce to I replicate a carbonara for my mum (which was the best pasta Iâve ever eaten). I then decided to make a sandwich which was also gluten free focaccia and the best gluten free bread ever. I had cheese and salami and it was the biggest sandwich ever. Again, the best. This place is so so good and I highly recommend! Thank you for all your help!

I finally tried this gluten-free place that offers takeaway (also delivery) or you can eat at the few tables. I tried the vegan sandwich for the combination of eggplant and caramelized onion. The focaccias are simply spectacular: crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, with a flavor that makes you forget they are gluten-free. Indeed, thanks to them, the "problem" of gluten-free becomes a distant memory. Every bite confirms that you can eat well, indeed very well, even without gluten. A small note, just for completeness: the gnocchi would have benefited from a pinch more salt (but this is a matter of personal taste) and the tagliatelle were slightly undercooked. However, nothing detracts from the excellent overall impression. I will definitely return!

Beautiful idea, I really appreciate it because finally we celiacs can eat safely and peacefully. Everything is perfect, the only downside is that being a take away, I expected there would be some lids for the pasta to carry them better, but they were not provided, and it was a bit uncomfortable to walk around with a steaming plate of pasta in the cold along with a thousand other things in hand. There is a place inside to eat, but it was full at the time. Despite this, great idea, I appreciate it a lot. I hope you can solve this small problem soon so everything will be perfect.
