The ancient ice cream shop Tantimonaco located in Vieste on Viale Marinai d'Italia is the ideal place to take a break and enjoy not only the excellent ice cream, but also smiles and a lot of kindness and warmth: there is availability of lactose-free ice creams, sugar-free options, and gluten-free cones, as well as the possibility of crêpes and aperitifs... The ice cream shop is family-run, managed by Michele the ice cream maker, Mrs. Carolina at the ice cream counter, and Raffaella the sister-in-law in public relations: wonderful people we had the pleasure of meeting who have been running this business since 1949... we wish them to continue on this path for a long, long time because they know the right ingredients to make you fall into sweet temptation!

Historic gelateria that keeps up with the times. Quality ice cream, with few thickeners and high-quality ingredients. Even the fruit flavors, typically grainy, are cream-like even without milk. There are 3/4 options for those intolerant to milk. Very kind staff, average prices, and just the right portions. Tables with chairs and a restroom are available. "If it melts quickly, it's a sign of quality." Days have passed, but I still can't stop thinking about this 5-star gelateria.
