I go every time I am at La Caletta, one of the chefs, who is also the son of the owners, is celiac, offering various good sandwiches. Naturally, in August, in such a touristy place, one cannot expect the utmost attention, but they have always been reliable for us.

I went to this place yesterday. I asked the staff for information about gluten-free preparation and the use of a separate oven: they were unhelpful and annoyed. The menu clearly states that they do not guarantee the absence of contamination; for pizzas, there is a separate oven, but 'the flour is airborne.' I had a sandwich, I didn't like it and I couldn't finish it. After dinner, I felt sick. I don't believe there is enough attention in the preparation.
