Fantastic single dishes: top-quality meat and beautifully cooked vegetables! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Almost the entire menu is gluten-free, except for a few desserts and possibly an appetizer. The place is very nice. Highly recommended.

We had dinner in a group of three on the evening of Thursday, August 21 (there was a storm outside). The place is very nice and intimate in the lower area of Portoferraio (directly at the port) with well-kept decor. We ordered different dishes and in all of them, the meat was of the highest quality (specifically, I had the asado of Sienese meat and I can say it is the best meat I have ever eaten) and it was presented very well. Excellent service with very kind waiters and owners; I informed them that I am celiac and they also brought me gluten-free bread separately (I appreciated that it was still sealed). The place was quite full, I recommend booking in advance as we did. The quality/price ratio is more than correct. The owner was very nice and, given the weather conditions, suggested that we wait for the rain to lessen a bit before going to the car (it was almost midnight, everyone was leaving and they were about to close) and advised us on the best route to return to the hotel without passing through the lower area of Portoferraio, which floods easily (it was during the orange alert days and just the days before there had been various floods and closures). The only thing I would like to note is that they have a beautiful large dog inside the restaurant, which is kept close to the kitchen and is very calm and friendly (except that evening when it barked when it thundered, poor thing) - I don’t know if it was just for that evening or not - anyway, I mention it because someone might be afraid, but just ask to stay in the other room.

Very good meat, tender and well plated. Excellent beer. Service a bit slow and caustic: the handling of gluten-free customers is not exactly the best in terms of attention to detail. High cost. Long wait times. Nice and welcoming place, even though it’s on the street. Friendly and approachable staff. Attention to detail also means taking care of orders: the bread was requested 3 times, and it should be the first thing to be brought, instead it arrived after the meat and therefore about half an hour of waiting! Their staff perhaps was not adequately trained on the menu as they told us the potatoes were contaminated, then they apologized and everything was fine... these are the details... on an order of a meat dish with potatoes and side dishes on two plates, we had some mix-ups. You should check the details and be less haughty in responses to reviews that overall were not at all negative. Thank you again for the service you provide for those with intolerances, anyway!
