Racines is truly a dream spot for anyone who follows a vegan lifestyle. The variety is impressive, with everything from gluten-free options to lentil-based creations. You’ll find baked goods such as cookies, brownies, shortbreads, cakes, and potato cakes, along with quiches, focaccia, and savory rolls. The brownies and cookies, in particular, are exceptional, rich, chewy, and far better than most you’ll find elsewhere. Breads are available in different types and sizes, sold from 200g up to 1kg (around 20 CHF/kg). While the menu is thoughtfully curated with plenty of sweet and savory options, it may be more appealing to dedicated vegans. For others just looking to explore, the sweeter items stand out, though the breads and pizzas might not be as satisfying.

So thankful for Racines! After I watched Earthlings and Forks over Knives, my life changed and I went vegan. But I love to travel and often it’s tricky to find healthy options. I was passing through Lausanne and looking for a vibrant plant-based meal, and voila 🤍 They have multiple quiche varieties (mine was Jerusalem artichoke & potato) buddha bowls, focaccia, sandwiches, tons of delicious little gluten free muffins, cakes, Chocolates and raw options. Many gluten free options as well. Thank you Racines!
