Amazing culinary experience! We spent two weeks in Japan and our family feels this was our best dinner of the trip. We did the extended menu and our experience rivals a two star Michelin in the states. Presentation was beautiful combinations, creative, but most importantly every bite was beautifully, balanced, and delicious. The Italian influence was understated yet consistent throughout the dinner. Our favorites were the oysters on the half shell, The iron baked focaccia, And the fish course reminiscent of bouillabaisse. We were seated at 6:30 and we were finished before 8:30. We also did the wine pairing which complimented nicely. Even though we made reservations, the same day, the chef was very gracious and accommodating a gluten-free allergy. Vive and the 3 feet of powder are already calling us back
