If you are looking for an amazing ramen experience in Japan, Menshoshinbusakiya Matsumototen is absolutely worth a visit. Their gluten-free ramen is outstanding – without a doubt, it’s the best gluten-free ramen we tasted anywhere in Japan. The staff were very attentive and explained the possibilities of cross-contamination. They use separate kitchen utensils for gluten-free dishes, although everything is prepared in the same kitchen. We didn’t experience any problems and felt safe eating there. There is also a vegan ramen option, making this restaurant a perfect choice for anyone with special dietary needs. Both GF and regular Ramen’s were delicious, prices are good and staff were super nice! They were really knowledgeable with regard to gluten-free so definitely worth it if you’re celiac but also if you’re not.

It is a small company, only 4 restaurants in Japan. It is in not the most touristic area, but they are taking care of vegan and gluten-free needs! The vegan ramen with brown rice noodles was so amazing that we came here every day we spent in this town. What a sweet lady working there as well!

GF ramen and GF fried chicken were delicious! My son was so happy to have something other than 7-11. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Absolutely worth going if you're in Matsumoto, even if not celiac or vegan. The gyoza were outstanding. Love this place!
